  • good tips,

    barak Allah feek

  • Based on personal experience, I totally believe that sins take away from your memory. For example, when I am reciting the Qur'an and an arrogant thought crosses my mind, I literally forget all the verses I have memorized. It's like God sees through my intention. May Allah forgive us for our sins and help us learn His Book so that we may become closer to Him, ameen.

  • Assalamu aleykum, great tips. Another tip I got from a brother is to HANG OUT WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME GOAL AS YOU, you would always see them, hear them talk about Quraan memorization.

  • Memorizing The Qur'an YOU DONT need good Memory Its a MIRACLE of the Qur'an That Soooo Many Muslims around the Globe Have Memorized the Qur'an. Statistic's say they are over 25 Million Memorizers of The Glorious Qur'an from as young as 5 and old as 50 years old :).Peace Be Upon You And our Family.

  • @sha57 yes i'm not Arab and most of the ayets i don't understand the meaning:(.

    i'm 27 and can't memorize anything:(

  • @karakan1453 salaam alaikum, im also not Arab, but u can memorize it, and look up the translation of the meaning, and read Tafsir books about the ayaat u have learned.

and another tip go and study Quranic arabic in a good masjdid insha'Allah.

  • BarakAllaho feek.

  • Jazaallahukoiron

  • the best period to learn it is when you are young at 5-12 years old. after then the brain memorize lesser and lesser. if you go to school you are sitting and learning even with others to. so learning Quran with the others shouldn't be a problem.

    8. write what you are recite it. it improves it faster coz you are actually learning twice at the same time. reading/writing system is the best method. after you are 20 your brain switches from memorize mode to understanding mode. after 40 delete mode:)

  • @karakan1453

cool i never knew any of that stuff

thnx for sharing its very nice of you

  • salam brothers

  • Why dont you make Islamic indexesss..

The survey of the Islamic countries based on the their taqawa: eg.

Indexes of countries of women wearing hijab ... ( .... pecent )

Index based on countries by percentages performing sholat in mosques...

index based on countries by percentages performing the law of God ...

    ..etc ...

Just an idea we can see which country is more piuos and religous to Islam ...

  • Thanks for the advice. I'm from the Netherlands, my mom's Dutch and my dad's from Morocco, but I never learned the Arabic language. Even though I don't know the language I've learned some Suras. I use a transliteration and listen to different reciters read the Qur'an and just read along with them untill I memorize that Sura. I keep repeating it like a parrot and alhamdulillah, I've even learned some of the longer Suras like Al Haqqa and Al Waqiah. Salaam

  • @XaeeD

Most Muslims don't understand Arabic anyway - so dont worry ^^

  • JazakAllahu Khair

  • I really want to memorize the word of Allah JS. But in your tips ... there are two tips which are contradictory ... please advise me on them.

A tip is to " memorize in a secluded place " away from activity.

The other is to sit with others and compete with them.

How these two can be accomplished at a time. Or does it mean that we should sit with others and compete only when reviewing.

    Kindly elaborate.

  • Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmat Allahi wa Barakatu. They do not necessarily contradict. You can:

-Sit together and memorize away from outside noise, distractions

-Memorize by yourself, and once a day, week, etc. meet with the others to see each other's progress and review what you memorized

Everyone has different methods to help them memorize. Whatever works best for you personally is what you should stick with, Insha-Allah.

  • @zotopec I think 'to compete with others' does not necessarily mean to sit and read aloud together but more of having one another for motivation. For example, if you have a friend who has memorized one more suraah than you, that will motivate you to spend a longer time to memorize to compete with this friend. Allahu'alam..

  • @zotopec work together with people who know better how to spell the right way, who can help u, encourage your self and others to compete to have a motivation more, is no contradiction brother, than u can go in a secluded place and memorise it

  • ASsalamuAlaikum, Alhamdulillah great Advice and easy tips, MASHALLAH.

May ALLAH reward you , Ameen.

May ALLAH make it easy for us to memorize the Quran, INSHALLAH, Ameen.

  • [..continued]

Also, listen to the recitation of the Quran (as Mocro1984 said) by your fav recitor. Listen to it throughout the day on your mp3, especially before you go to sleep. It replays in your mind and makes memorisation easier (when you come to memorise it, inshaAllah)

Barakallahu Feekum and keep up the good work! Wsalaam :)

  • as salaamu aleykum,

Jazaakumullahu Khayra, this was a wonderful video MashaAllah.

    Can i add some tip:

Stick with one copy of the Quran (mushaf), because when you read the Quran you can kind of remember where the Ayahs are on the page, (also, for example: if you know you've finished a page, you can just remember the 1st Ayah of the next page and continue reading - it makes it easier Alhamdulillah)

    [continued..]

  • MashAllah very beautiful ... JazakumAllah kheir

  • Alhamdulilah this is excellent, we need to focus on the Qur'an more than anything else

  • Beautiful reminder

    Jazakallah
