  • I hate crosswinds when landing keep thinking the wing is going to crash into the runway

  • Wow cant believe this I just started watching that first RyanAir 737 landed brilliantly, superb pilots!

  • 2.03 oooooooooooohhhhhh hard landing

  • when did british airways start flying to dublin

  • I thought the Aer Arran was going to brake in half!!!!!!!!!

  • its a pity BA don't come to Dublin anymore

  • I live very near that airport. I usually listen to the airplanes land and take-off before I sleep :D

  • A lot of rudder action to control those flares and rollouts.....jeez!

  • what the help of that pilot at 2:06, he approached the plane , when landing, with the front wheels touching the ground first instead of the wheeels from the wings' ? Did he get drunk that moment ? :))

  • @talkonfox its different for turbo props

  • OSAMA BIN LADENS REAL NAME IS TIM OSMAN WHO WAS IN THE CIA..

LOOK AT THE $1 NOTE IT SAYS NOVUS ordo seclorum = NEW WORLD ORDER

RESEARCH THE NEW WORLD ORDER.. SECRET SOCIETYS EXSIST... FREE UR MINDS.. FOR 20 ND A HALF YEARS THE MOTHER F*KERS GOT ME... wAKKE UP PEOPLE....

  • that Aer Arran landing is baddd, wouldn't have enjoyed being on that.....

  • At 2:10 I would have shit my jeans!

  • Jaaaaysus, look at that Aer Arann landing. Bloody hate those planes.

  • The ATR at 2.00 has had better days!! Beautiful hold off by the A321 at 1.14 that takes skill..

  • wow bad landing by BA

    #

  • Great camera work.

  • 1:55 pilot seems like truck driver....

  • Aer araan planes give me the creeps!! wouldnt fly with them if i was paid!!!

Belles images

  • Smooth landings :)

  • haha aer lingus a321 fails to touch down for so long and it fails on approach 1:23

  • Great shots!!Thanks for uploading

  • The first Ryanair kissed the ground!

Thanks for capturing this very nice

  • The prop plane @ 1:55 That was a "white knuckle" moment.

She bounced up a few feet. I'm sure there was many a "oh shit!" followed by "thank God!" said in the last few seconds of that flight!

  • jeezzz that aer arann

    landing at 2.08 was kinda

    weird

  • holy crap theres alot of ryan air planes that come into dublin i think its their hub.

  • i like to see planes landing and take-off in bad weather condition, so excited, because we could see the which airline pilots' was better in handling and your video could give me a ssastisfaction, thanks! Hope you can record more in coming days!

  • @talkonfox Make sure to watch numbers 2 and especially number 3 where there are some more dramatic landings!!

  • @talkonfox - they're TERRIFYING when your on the Plane, but interesting to watch here cos it shows that Crosswind Landings are one of those things that are nto actually as Bad as they feel. Pilots deal with them everyday.

  • @talkonfox what about if your slut mom is on-board the plane ?

  • @samalini , if i were the pilot, i will kick you off the plane, when it was lifted at 10,000 ft, but i think you won't have this good chance because i will order 4 black men to serve you romantically under the cockpit with your hands tied behind the seat, after we passengers all jumped out from the plane, with parachuted ! Only you and 4 black men enjoyed that thing, and we passengers safely landed and see the plane flushing into the African Sea then !! Got that? FXXK !

  • funny how ryanair gets all the slagging off and aer lingus isnt slagged that much even though Ryanair which have the 737-800s landed much more smoothly and the airbusses and Aer lingus were floating and weaving around

  • @ryanair737400 Very true. Almost all my Ryanair landings (and I've travelled quite a bit with them over the past five or six years) have been great.

  • @ryanair737400 agreed, just because Ryanair has it's infamous reputation, doesn't mean the pilots are bad, many of my colleagues have gone onto Ryanair and they're some of the best pilots I know

  • @ryanair737400 I work for RYR, and only have had a few bad landings, I flew with Aer Lingus several times in the last month and their landings (no crosswinds) were terrible every time. I'm sure they've had good landings too but unfortunately I've only witnessed the bad

  • look at the diff between ryan air and aer dingus,

ryan air are so smooth, aer lingus are just shite weaving about like a mallard

  • @SkyWestCRJPilot dude does not really have anything to with weight i've seen a russian IL-76 done the same thing and those aircraft weight alot even when empty . now my flight instructor always told me never do wheelbarrow landing for the simple reasons the front wheels are not made to substain all of the aircraft weight it can easily snap

  • @Damienm7 I think you will find that you are correct on the wheel barrow landing but the reason why the Russan IL-76 you saw which did a wheelbarrow landing is because it's standard of a high wing aircraft to take a lower nose attitude on landing, they tend to float alot more. I think you will find weight still has a large effect on the way the aircraft landing though.

  • what runway

  • @hawk45653 28

  • BOO ryanair

  • Great video thanks

  • @ladybab No problem. Glad you enjoyed. You'll enjoy number 3 even more!!

  • Aer Ann best landing ever^^

  • wow, nose landing @2:06

  • ATR 72 may wanna get that gear checked out

  • Ryan air is the Southwest airlines of europe

  • did they build dat fence up higher recently or are u up on top of a car? coz i was up there last week the fence got in the way

  • ok guys i typed it in backwards i made a fucking mistake get off my case

  • the aerarann one was rough

  • You would think the aerlingus pilot woud be the best because he flys into dublin almost every time he lands

  • I arrivied in Ireland for a 10 day stay at the beginning of April. Had a wonderful vacation. Our landing was a "E ticket" , but fun. Luckily I return prior to the shut down due to the volcano ash. I be returning next year.

  • nice vid,

rwy 28/10 great to watch, but rwy16 is even better :) It seams S winds are relatively stronger then W/E winds, so rwy16 often tests the pilot's skills more :)

    pleasure to watch anyhow. !

    thanks !

  • who the hell landed the aer aaran??? probly a kid!

  • Awesome landings.

    Very skilled pilots =]

  • Which runways at EIDW are these landings on?

  • @C17Globemaster1984 Runway 28

  • Want to play transport tycoon again :)

  • all ryanair planes are a320 to keep maintanance cost down

  • @CELTICS17PF aren't ryanair not 737s ?

  • @CELTICS17PF they're actually 737 800 next generations... :)

  • @CELTICS17PF Ryan Air only use the Boeing 737. They do not have any airbus a320s. Idiot. Why would you say something so stupid?

  • @CELTICS17PF if you are not an expert nobody forces you to give answers, Ryanair flies 737-800...

  • @CELTICS17PF Ryanair don't have any A320's, they have an entire fleet of 737-800's

  • ryanair are really good but if u look the rear landing gear is not as long as it would be say on a 737

  • God, planes142 calm down.

Bushuhush Not sure I follow you. Why different for 737-800? Three point landings fine for tail draggers but not sure about Jets. Thanks for the polite answer though!

    NO offence intended to anyone!

  • Look how good the AL and BA landing where (nose high and the good hold off) then look at the Ryan landings nearly down on three wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How crap are they!!!! They dont land them they drop em ha ha

Thats why I am very reluctant to fly Ryan air

  • @mocatx fuck you you dont even know how to spell it its ryanair not ryan air! anyway no they made good landings there :L

  • @mocatx that also has to do with the B738 type they`re flying. and only when the nose is up= good landing is really wrong

  • @mocatx Did you watch the same video that I just watched?

  • Horrible Landing made by the ATR.....

  • well they are much lighter aircraft the the

    A320's and 737-800's

  • Watch and comment my Aircraft videos!

    And don't forget to subscribe! (;

  • Is it Normal to have a sort of rocky landing in Dublin? I am landing there a couple of times this week lol. It's worth it, Dublin is beautiful!!

  • Well STUPID, obviously it says I live in America because I do!!. You call me self righteous yet your the one who has called me names and used degrading language and comments. What a poor reflection on your intelligence. I will continue to write whatever I feel like writing and if you dont like it then dont call yourself BRUTAL TRUTH because apparently you cant handle it!

  • Ha ha predictable as ever - full of shit!

So you live in America but frequently go to Dublin Airport to plane spot? Sure! Ha ha!

Don't you realize what an utter foolyou are? We are all having a good laugh at you!

You are in Ireland what is called an Eejit and Gobshite!

Your intelligence is low and your deception sio high that you have to quote from a Hollywood military film to try and win an argument! You failed!

Do is all a favour "Billy No Mates!" Do what ET did and go home! Hee hee!

  • This is boring. Conversation is over. You MUST be a southsider.

  • Oh how I love winning arguments on Youtube and you were a pushover compared to others!

Southsider? There you go again making a fool of yourself yet again! Hee hee :D

  • Hey if your gonna have a go at what aviation enthuisiasts love to look at, then bugger off and go and do something else instead of slagging our passion!

  • Hey! If you dont want to hear the comments of people then DONT POST IT ON YOUTUBE!!

  • Hey, it's posted on YouTube for those who DO want to watch it and there are a large amount of people who do. These vids arent for folk like u who probs dont have much of an interst and slag it off all the time!

  • if you dont like it dont watch it you prick!

  • Wow, how mature of you! You and your potty mouth have a good day!

  • @TheLadyc999 So why did u spend over 3 mins watching it then yer ugly cunt of a bollocks brain?

  • ehhh...did you read your reply? Is that as clever as you get? " so why did u spend 3 mins watching it then yer ugly c**t of a bo*****s brain???? REALLY???? I'd be feeling pretty STUPID right now if were you!!

  • @TheLadyc999 American are you not????

For someone to denigrate a Youtuber's film about aviation spotting when your viewing history is all about plane spotting is a bit rich and smacks of hypocrisy!

Get an eraser: rub yerself out and start all over again!

Lady eh? You must be a transsexual or with your negative views a CROSS dresser :D

  • As a matter of fact I am not American, I am Irish. I have spent many a weekend at the back of Dublin Airport watching the planes come in. It was MY opinion that these particular clips were not interesting. These clips are posted for public viewing with the option of comments. If you people don't want public comments, dont post your stuff on the internet and the attack a person verbally for their views!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG.... stop at 2:05 and look at the plane :D

  • if it aint boeing, Im not going..........

  • bollox

  • I am an A&P, FEJ and an ATP with 7000 flight hours and I was absolutely stunned, flabbergasted when I realized that the majority of internal airframe structural supports on the A 310 which appear to be aluminum are actually rolled composite material with aluminum rod ends. They shattered. These are the words from an engineer.. I have 12 years service as a firefighter at a major airport, I know the better aircraft.........

  • what a tired little children's ditty this is eh Lloyd Cole and the Commotions!

  • Bollox, there's no significant crosswind here. Watch the rudders after touchdown.

  • some how the 737 seems to do better than the airbusses...

  • great mix, but they are not crosswind landings though.

  • Yes they are, it's not the most obvious but there are some tell-tale signs.

  • didn't see any.

  • great video, those atr's are dangerous to fly in heavy winds i saw one nearly crash at cork in heavy winds, landed on front wheels first and tilted to the side nearly scraping the wing of the ground

  • 1:16!!!! omg..

  • the ryanair at 0:52 had a SMOOTH landing

  • that ATR was really dangerous! 1:58

  • yeah i know lol! that bitch came in head first.

  • great job, well done !!!

  • Yeah was a late touch down for the 321 but still within the TDZ so all good but say brakes got a good use!!

  • Bad. weather

  • late touch down for aer lingus a321. 737 FTW :)

  • If this was 10 hours long I could watch from beginning to end. There's something amazing about watching 100 - 150 ton unlikely looking machines taking off and landing.

Thanks for the great video :)))

  • Thank you indeed for your very nice comment.

  • don't forget toilet breaks...

  • Dublin has one of the windiest airports~!

for one second I can only see the ground out the side window and for another second it's all sky!

  • do landings ever occur on runway 16/31?

  • yes, runway 16 ils approach and runway 31 is visual. but RW 16/31 is only used when crosswind speed on RW 10/28 exceeds 25 knts.

  • You mean RW 16/34 ;)

  • ATR was the lighest of the bunch so maybe that's why it was a poor landing. I bet it woke the passengers up though.

  • that ATR did the worst landing of them all .

  • Yes it was not the best! See the 2nd and 3rd installment for more, especially video number 3. There's an incredible "wheelbarrow" landing by an ATR in that one . . .

  • @Damienm7 yh lol almost dived into the ground

  • @baxstaber1 Roger that. Some interesting "landings" there!

  • After this, i think i'm going to Scotland

  • british airways landing by far the best of all presented on this video ... pilots experience matter

  • because there was no lufthansa or delta landing :P

  • @skatiaris21 In your professional judgement? What makes a good landing then?

  • best one was definatley the 1st one, that would have been smooth with no wind!

  • Yep. Faiy play to the Luxair pilots!

  • Wow, i'm going to Dublin Planespotting on 25th august, getting a flight Gatwick - Dublin... where is a good place to spot at Dublin ?

  • There is a lay-by adjacent to the intersection of runways 28 and 34 which is where most spotters congregate.

  • I was in Dublin in 2001, great place.

    Canada 4 Dublin

  • Always love standing on the bank to film when I'm up in Dublin, Hate the fact that the traffic often drowns out the sound of the aircraft though,

    Great vids

  • Loved the soft Luxair landing. Probably the best landing out of them all. Great video 5/5

  • Yes I agree, Thanks for the rating!

  • Nah the BA one was.

  • Nope. Luxair one deffinetly smoother

  • Nope, BA I think.

  • lol old 737!!

  • Old but reliable !

  • The ATR landing was bad^^ The poor front wheel:-)

  • i liked the way he came in lol

  • Oh wow did you see that Aer Lingus A321 balloon its landing the pilot certainly held the aircraft of the runway for a while Magnificent!

  • He certainly floated a good bit down the runway. I thought he might go around at the time but he held his nerve !! (Or maybe it was a female pilot !)

  • Oh, and another question.

You have a pretty cool camera, so why did u not film it in HD???

    Still great vid.

  • BA was certainly the best but the Ryanair guys did a good job too

  • Nice vid.

  • Thank you. This is the first of three videos. If you like this, wait till you see number 3 !!

  • Ouch! The Aer Arann at 1:55 was pretty much nosewheel first.

    Great video!

  • he actually lands main gear first and then on the nose wheel after a bounce good spot

  • What camera are you using??

    Great Video!

Probably took a while to make it this great

  • I use the Canon XL1s - a great camera with interchangeable lens system.

  • Interesting. Me and My girlfreind landed in Dublin through Ryan-air in June 08' and recall the worst turbulant landing ever. Everyone on the plane did not know whether to laugh or shit their pants!

  • Great video Ant, interesting ATR landing there!

  • Yes indeed, Watch the other 2 videos, especially number 3. Some real scary stuff there.

  • ok .. i have a bit of a situation. i am 16 and am very interested in becoming an airline transport pilot. But however, i am slightly afraid of heights. Any advice ? please help

  • I also am afraid of heights, but not flying. I think the two are not directly related. If you have a phobia like that I believe hypnotherapy can be very beneficial.

  • fuck me dead that was a nose wheel landing in the highwing a/c 2:04

  • Indeed LOL

  • shess0501:

there was no Q400 in this vid.The closest looking plane to that was the Aer Arann ATR-72

but as you said still scary.

  • wonderful...

  • nice landings.

    xDD

  • So many Ryanair...

  • Yes, that's the way it is at Dublin these days. Mostly Ryanair and Aer Lingus,. So little variety! :(

  • Great video! 5* :)

  • Thank you.

  • the aer arann plane was a bad landing lol,, nose wheel first lol

  • Yeah, he really didn't handle it well at all. Sure it felt like a bit of a roller-coaster ride for the passengers !

  • The BA 737 was a peach of a landing

  • Very true. Nice.

  • The Aer Lingus 321 pilots had a hard time

  • He floated a long way down the runway!

  • ya man that was crazy the length he when before touching down!
