Not fun having to try to fix my ipod screen. It took me hours and i still had no luck, So i sent it to easyfix(dot)webstarts(dot)com they are soo fast and have great quality.It was soo easy to ship it out to them also. Check it out. I used option 3 and it worked great.

um yeh its not really a suprise that it still works fine if u actually look at ur ipod o iphone the screen is actually down lower then black bit theresabout 1 millimeter bit of glass before u actuaklly get to the screen that produces the picture this on like everything but the ipod has very thick glass and that is why the cracks also look so bad and look so deep

The cool thing is that you can download a app on there were you can call people for free. But I think the app costs .99. Anyways that's not bad. Plus I am talking on my iPod touch. Oh and you need to have a mic so you can talk. The speaker in the iPod will make you hear what they are saying. But you have to put it on speaker.

my 2nd generation touch fell onto the tile floor in my homeroom in febuary and got cracked and everything worked...... except the accelorometer. 8 months later when my mom threw it on the tile floor in anger, it got cracked even more and i ended up getting a new one.

You guys who say this is fake is retarded. My ipod touch 2g has about 18 deep cracks in it and it still works. It's nothing but a glass screen on top of the screen. As long as the digitalizer isn't broken the ipod will still work. The digitalizer is a little ribben on the glass that plugs into the ipod underneath the black part at the top so you can't see it. I bought a new screen/digitalizer and a bezel and i'm fixing mine tomorrow on my own. THats the only reason i know all of this.

the reason it works is because only the glass which protects the actual pixels themselves is broken. The screen itself is just fine, because the glass took the beating. There's no plastic wrap.. who would waste their time and do that?
