i know a writer from a main stream christian magazine who tried to make a positive article on this movement and said as he followed up on all the "dead raised" claims and most others that none were truly substantiated. (This was before it came out that Bentley was having an affair).

Think about it. If someone was raised from the dead after a full day of being dead it would have made every news channel.. even if they denied the cause of the miracle they would not have denied the happening!

it's funny you say that. Cause Jesus was dead for 3 DAYS and it's been reported all over the world for 2000 years... and people deny the miracle and the happening. What I hate more is to see other people within the body of christ, attacking other members. Why would science bother? Its not scientifically or logically possible. But people wont look for a God who goes beyond their ability to reason. Thats the whole problem. We want a God who will change our tires, or do something we can explain. Yet we wouldnt ask a body builder to prove his strength by bench pressing a banana. My point in pointing out all of this is not to vindicate Todd nor to pick on you, but to expose the motives in our own hearts. Christians are the only people group that stab their own in the back. Regardless of what Todd preaches or does, he still is our brother, and shame on us for thinking we could do God's job by judging him. But is that your opinion? Often we attack what we dont know, and if someone doesnt agree with our theological persuasion than we try to pressure others into our belief system. This is a form of manipulation, which is a form of control, which the bible refers to as witchcraft. It is one thing to disagree with the hype, but the vast majority of Tod's theological beliefs are scripturaly sound. They even have a minibook online writen by a recognized theologian who discuses enmass what Todd preaches.

Am I saying I agree with everything, no. But Jesus is perfect theology. Jesus is the example we are to follow, not Paul, who himself was a Christ follower. He isnt God (tho the way most Christians view him you might wonder). Jesus' example was never to condemn someone because of what they had done (he only condemned those who condemned), no he loved, was kind and gentle, and healed all who came to him. He didnt point out their sin, he forgave it. What should our response be?

Are you Todd's father? When growing up, as a kid when you started telling your other siblings what to do, would they listen to you? No. Often the reply one gets is: Your not dad. The truth is you can rebuke all you want, but if you dont walk in a certain level of authority than what you say doesnt really count to the other person. You havn't earned a place of trust in their life to do as such. Timothy not only had earned that place authority, but was also recognized by other apostles as well.

That stranger has no right to do that. You did not give him permission. The same goes with Todd.

Who is to say that Todd himself doesnt know what is confirmed or not...he only shares what they give to him...so it is one thing to say that Todd is a deceiver, when he himself may be deceived by a staff member, or maybe like someone yourself. Todd said he was coming to the UK in Sept. BUT on Fresh Fire's website England has been removed from Todd's plans!

A quick search on the internet came up with the website for Dudley 'Outpouring' Church. It says:

"We have just learned that it hasn't been possible to arrange Todd Bentley's planned visit to the NEC on September 20th -- 23rd as the venue became unavailable."

I guess God has decided that we don't need revival after all

Todd Bentley tells a story of a man who he knocked his tooth out (you may have seen the video) He says the pastor will verify the story. So far I have had no responce from the pator of the church.
