Nice job on both, very nice detail and shading! Have you considered sharing these on a site called DeviantArt? you should check it out. Its a nice site open to the public but they can't copy your work, unless they buy a copy I guess. Anyway, nice job once again! Astonishing and wonderful job.

To describe this in 1 word for me i would have to say: Elegant. I could most likely never drawn the frist,simply because of the amount of time you must have put into it and the shadowing is brillant and very accurate. Good job mate You keep suprising me and keep on drawing :).

thanks mate!, both of these drawings took somewhere between 13-18 hours each to finish so yeah there was a lot of work behind these drawings:D, I have started drawing characters from lord of the rings, i'm working on Gandalf right now so yeah I will definetly keep on drawing:)

Hi: Very impressive. About the dog. Great work on the nose and mouth. It seems to me that the eye on the right is too high up. Also, the eyes should be similar in shape. The right side lacks detail and appears incomplete. I feel you have over done the blending in the neck area. This has washed out all the detail. Use more lines. Lines give a drawing definition : tonal variation gives a drawing form. Hope this makes sense. You definitely have loads of talent. Good luck with the contest. Cheers.

hi thanks for the feedback I appreciate it, I know the right side can look a little incomplete, the photo I made the portrait of had shadow of the right side, so I wanted to make a little darker it was hard cause as you say you need to draw more lines so the detail comes out, but anyway this was my first dog drawing in 8 years so I can only learn from my mistakes and be better next time:)

I believe that anyone that has passion for drawing can get better, all it takes it commitment , persistence and sheer determination:)
