  • Brian is the man

  • Brian is such a lovely man : )

  • His voice is still sexy.

  • The man with that woman is so gay!

  • @MsHeidiA no shit

  • @MsHeidiA yeah tell us something we dont know

  • Yeah Brian looks exactly the same back in the 70s and 80s except his hair is a bit grey and he's a bit fatter

  • 0:23 sounded like Stewie lmao.

  • It must be incredibly frustrating for Brian, Roger, and John to think about what might have happened. If Freddie had lived to get the AIDs cocktail, as Brian points out - he'd still be here. If the cocktail had been discovered 15 or 20 years after Freddie's death then you'd say oh well it wasn't even close. But the fact that it came out in the mid 90s is very frustrating. Just a few years difference between Freddie's life and death. I guess that's life but it doesn't seem fair.

  • Is the presenter tooo gay or microphone stretches the "s" - "Thisssssss moring", "in about five minuessssss"

    Brian Rules !!!!

  • @MrAppolo777 You've obviously never seen Julian Clary before...

  • QUEEN IS THE BEST

  • Yep he really isn't getting older at all - amazing! But I have to say that I will never think that the "new Queen" project is even a little bit as good as it was with Freddie. I still love the guys a lot but if I was them I would have ended the chapter "Queen" after the Freddie Mercury Tribute! But it's up to them - I always hope they don't do it for the money , that would disappoint me a lot! Freddie R.I.P.

  • @TheBigHase im completely with you on this one. People just cant seem to accept that queen have passed on into the realms of music history, and that Queen+PR are no longer the queen we all know and love! my self being an absolute queen nutter, i found it a bitter pill to swallow, but at the end of the day, queen could no longer function without freddie at the helm, and brian and roger knew it. I just hope they both stick around the music scene for a while :D :D

  • @wewillrockyou92 Agree. All good things must come to an end. It's just too bad that the good thing (or great thing) that was Queen had to come to an end before it was really time. The guys really have respected Freddie's memory though. They won't ever forget him. Brian's solo rendition of "Love of My Life" in concert is both sweet and heartbreaking. But I digress. I think Freddie would support all of their decisions be it retirement (Deaky) or forging ahead.

  • @TheBigHase Queen is a trademark, a recogniseable name. As horrid as it may be to think of, I guarantee you it was a marketing choice. Probably why John Deacon refused to be a part of it.

  • when i hear the "say its not true" song i really imagine freddie singing it, its really a typical queen song

  • Rock God, Physics genius, and as nice a bloke as you could imagine.

  • To be honest I aint heard of Paul Rgers and I doubt people wanna watch queen and paul rogers not singing queen songs.Sorry but I think the song is crap!Sucking up to Mandela for what?

  • Some people are mentioning it's so "remarkable" that he's was both doing this intelligent major on uni, and is such a good musician. I think, however, that these things go hand in hand. He's just a smart person overal .

Mathematical subjects (such as his uni major) are in fact quit close to the 'math' that music actually is. In the end music is nothing more than a challenge for our brains to solve, predict, be surprised by and such . In the total end it could lead to an emotion. (last phase)

  • @PowerRedBull LOL! I'd much rather play a guitar than do algebra and equations and it isnt a big guess to say the same probably goes for most people!D:}

  • @XxpauldadudexX his playing was extraterestial , similar to Super Nova !!! So he had the knowlege to mesure it !

  • @Whitesnake23GR No idea what that means but if ya mean he was a great giutarist then yeah STELLER!

  • The interviewer is so obviously gay (not there's anything wrong with that)

  • always the gentlemen.

  • I heard something about him being an Astrophysicist. Is that a different member?

  • @Sladethetermanater87 no it's him

  • @mouloudo

its amazing he can do that and be a great guitar player

  • @Sladethetermanater87 yeah in fact he stoped his studies to be in the music business, and finished his cursus like 3 years ago, now he's a doctor in physic... his thesis was something like " radial speed in zodiacal dust clouds" XD I remember it cause it sounds so unreal XD right out of a star trekk thing ^^

  • @Sladethetermanater87 YES !!!

    Dr. Brian May !

He has a PhD in astrophysics.

  • @nordhorny Actually that's Dr. Sir Brian May, he was also knighted

  • @FerretJohn Sir Dr. Brian May :P

  • @Cupcake1384 , yeah the same happens 2 me here!!! Is sooooo and terribly sad :(((

  • @gorn779757

You're out of your tiny little mind aren't you?

  • at least i dont sniff my fingers after taking a shit; you watch brian may, he does it all the time...

  • @gorn779757 LOL! You seem to know a lot about sniffing stuff! Closet sniffer case huh?XD

  • @XxpauldadudexX sorry, my english is bad, but enjoy your pleasure!

  • @porkandbeans1991 Huh? Okay,I do enjoy pleasuring myself,very much thankyou!D:)

  • @XxpauldadudexX nice. real nice. sorry my english is not good but learning all the time!

  • @porkandbeans1991 No,your english is good, lol,I was just being silly!

  • @XxpauldadudexX thank you very much! be safe!

  • @porkandbeans1991 You too !D:}

  • @pauleyd80 lol what?

  • Brian is sooooo outgoing, such a nice person and I´m a huge fan of him, and QUEEN obviously, I´ll be so glad to meet him and I´m just 13 years old! I am a great fan of them since the 4 years old and I sing and play all their songs with my own special guitar, just as he does with the "Red Special"...I LOVE U SOO MUCH! QUEEN U ROCK!

  • @daprins75 Im 15, i loove queen too :) its sad, because hardly any of my friends even know who queen are :(

  • are they ever going to have a tour in the U.S.?

  • SHUT UP!

  • BRIAN is the...BRAIN!!!!!

  • Never really looks any older. Music keeps you young it seems.

  • Maybe it's the makeup.

  • i am a huge queen fan, and have been since the day i was born( my nan played their music to me honest!) totally respect their decision to form agai but with paul rogers, naturally no-one can eplace freddie, but i would just like to say they have kept th queen part of the name because they decided when they were the original queen that if 2 or more of the group were to write or work on a song then it would be classed as a queen song, hence why they kept the queen part in queen + paul rogers.

  • i met dozens of rock stars in the 80's including Brian May and he stands out head and shoulders over all of them as the most down to earth great guy. He's one of the best song writers and classiest guitarists on earth, what a true gift he is. God bless you Brian.

  • the only good things about that "new" song are the awesum drummin and guitar playing!

sorry paul rodgers but 4 me u suck

  • Have you seen live in Ukraine yet?

  • ohh, my sweet Brian, my darling Roger, you guys still rock, but I miss the time when beloved Freddie used to be with you... poor Paul Rodgers, I kind of hate him ahahahhah

  • Everyone criticises PR but it's not his fault that Freddie's gone. He had a damn hard job; filling Freddie's shoes isn't easy and he loses either way. If he imitates F. he gets criticised; if he does it his own way, he's blamed also. He is a good musician in his own right; he took Queen on wholeheartedly and did his best (with little benefit for his own career). At least we got to see Bri and Rog again, which we might not have done otherwise... F. admired his voice; why can't we all do the same?

  • that's why I said poor Paul, because he doesn't deserve it. I know he's got a nice voice and he's doing a good job, but I don't like changes, I'm not open minded, I think that he should have his own band other than Queen. Teenages now (oh, sure, I'm so grown up, but never mind) always remind of him when I talk about Queen. It's just not Queen, damn! If he was supposed to play with Brian and Roger, they should've at least changed the band's name so Freddie would be Queen's singer forever.

  • I agree completely about the name: 'Queen + PR' doesn't exactly cover it all, does it!

  • yeah he's a pretty good singer, but he never tried to fill freddie's shoes, the point of him being there wasnt Even to fill in freddie's shoes. he was just a singer singing with queen.

  • brian may should be sir brian what can you say about the man nothing because if you tryed you would run out of space to fill. a living legend and an inspiration to everyone keep rocking the house brian

  • brian may fucking rules!

  • "Great reluctance to do things without Freddie"

    :(

  • freddie could do pranayamas ans things like that and he would survived but i don't think he was supposed to leave us.

  • i guess thats true

  • x great! :)

  • i <3 brian may

  • Brian looks little tired...

  • excuse if we are not all English in the world. .sarò more luminosity fack Paul rogers. .w freddy mercury. .non to disturb thanks

  • ya i agree i think he just ruins the songs

  • Yeah, but who is going to replace freddie, he is unreplacable, give the credit for having the guts to go on stage and sing

  • queen r my fav band, i kno paul rodgers is an amazin singer, but i really h8 the way he's made the old hits sound, i wud rather he just left the classics alone....love u freddie!!!

  • I tend to agree, but I love the music of Brian May.

He needs a band,I think, and he is far younger at heart than his actual years.and to have his music die with Freddy would have been a double tragedy.

  • i hope thost crappy boy bands wont take over rock...infact they wont.... rock 4 ever!!!!!!!!

  • the queen could be either at least not a good singer like freddy ... roger and brian sing much better than him! the queen had no freddy mercury .. paul rogers ... I feel disgust in singing the songs of the queen with 2 Tone lower .. George Michael was the only worthy and acute voice .. and I find not just the choice of another singer .. when for years they said that they never replaced freddy add .. see the results .. it is ridiculous paul rogers .. hello

  • is anyone supposed to understand what youre on about???? paul is a brilliant singer and if you dont like it , dont listen, simple, and please learn some decent english before you comment in it!!!

  • FREDDY IS MAGIC..PAUL ROGER FUCK

  • How can you say that Paul Rogers fucks? Of course he can't be as great as Freddie was but even Freddie was a fan of Paul. Brian & Roger wouldn't have chosen Paul if he "fucks".

  • ya theyre both good but fieddie is REALLY cool

  • I know. I like Freddie more than Paul, but I just can't understand why so many people are talking utter pig crap about Paul. He's a great singer. He's as likely to have had the same experience as Roger (they were both born in 1949).

  • i agree with you im 20 and im hugely into queens music-especially their mid 70s era and i went to a paul rogers + queen gig knowing they wouldnt play any of those songs and itd be the hits and a few new ones but i saw suprised my self how amazing it was. pauls very good and although i never got to see the original band im happy i at least got to see that. its very good and the songs absolutely stood the test of time :)

  • What I want to know is what Brian and/or Roger are gonna do now that the Queen + Paul Rogers collaboration has ended.

  • Yeah i know. it must be really hard for them as they have to reach so many different kinds of fans. id love to hear something similar to their second album again whilst others will want to hear similar stuff to the later eras. theyve covered so many different styles it must be hard to please every one. im happy they are still going out there to play-i cant believe john wont though. how can a musician just stop and not want to play ever again?

i dont even know who the bassist was for PR+Queen

  • The bass player for Queen + Paul Rogers was Danny Miranda (an American musician). As for John Deacon, I think he just felt it was time to move on from Queen. I heard that he took Freddie's death harder than Brian and Roger did. None of the guys even wanted to be Queen after the made that song No One But You. Because they knew it wouldn't be the same without Freddie. So with that and John taking Freddie's death hard, he retired to be with his family.

  • aww thats so sad. well so long as hes content with life now but its a shame seeing such a talent choose to stop.

i hope brian & roger carry on. some people i talked to felt that the Cosmos Rocks had too much "free" in there and not enough of the "Queen" sound/style with the piano, key changes alternating from major to minor feels with loads of majestic harmonies excetra. i admit i thought Mays solo albums sounded more like queen than the cosmos rocks did but i assume that was the intention

  • Well, John left but at least Queen + Paul Rogers still had their backing pianist/keyboards player Spike Edney. Considering he was with them since the mid 80s I think he should've been included as an official band member. People often looked at him as the 'fifth' member of the band anyway.

  • yeah-i was happy when i saw them live & they did "love with my car" with the two guitars-it was brilliant & sounded very full. recently i got hold of some early queen gigs and they still sound great but with all of the harmonies and trademark guitar sound, it must be nice to be able to reproduce some of that live. i always thought even roy thomas bakers production really bought alot to the music too. i produce music myself so im always intrested in trying the experimental things he did

  • i agree ryhorn, john deacon hung it up for freddie only.

  • lets hope brian writes another wonderful bock like BANG!.....what a talent.

  • happy birthday from reunion island

  • Happy Birthday Brian

  • That host guy is a total flamer! He just screams "I'm Gay" when you look at him.

  • lmfao thats julian clary and yehh hes gay lol

  • Wheres John? Isn't he in the band anymore? Its just not the same. I don't think I don't like Paul Roger over Freddie, Freddies voice is so pure and, well, Pauls is not, i mean, im not saying its bad, but Brian's guitar and Rogers drums distinctive sound are still the same..

  • Queen it will never be but hey it still sounds great . R.I.P. freddie. Gone but never forgotten. Thanks for the great music also the great memories. God bless you. Slainte xxxxx

  • God! Brian is such a humble guy!

  • We want him to be remmemberd for how he lived, not how he died, although he was so brave right to the end.

The greatest performer the world has ever seen.

    Ladies and gentlemen

I give you the perfect gentleman

    Freddie Mercury.

    R.I.P my hero.

  • brian may i love you for ever!!

    me hero !!!!

  • Brian May always puts me in awe :O

hes an astro physicist and he is rated as one of the top 50 guitar players of all time. If that isn't the definition of genius I don't know what is :P

Oh and I love the video of freddie in drag with a moustache XD

  • yeah, freddie obviusly wasn't the only genius there ...

(I'm can't belive he still looks the same as he did ...)

  • He's an astrophysicist, Brian May.

    Amazing.

  • He got 2.1 degree from Imperial College. Even more amazingly, he went back to complete his phD.

    WTF...

    He made me jealous...

  • so sad his eyes ;(

  • I love queen including brian roger and john But Queen is not Queen without freddie :(

He was the most important thing of queen, brian sounds so sad

  • wow, haha

  • It's not Freddie Mercury.

  • Brian is such a nice and intelligent person... Sweet, really.

  • omg look at Brian eyes at 1:21... thank you freddie.

  • obviously

  • Brian never changed physically since the '70s, he is always the same :)

  • The interviewer is the real queen

  • HAHAHA, true

  • lol

  • i know right?

  • Love you, Brian. He's the most sensitive man I've ever met! A real soulful human being. He's kind and thouhghtful, too. It must still be painful for Brian when he is asked about Freddie...but the show must go on. I very happy Brian has so many fans that truly adore and rispect him!

  • Freddie is and always will be a legend. But you can't blame Roger and Brian for starting a new band and creating new music. I think it's what Freddie would've wanted: for Brian and Roger to keep the Queen legacy alive.

Long live Freddie Mercury, Long live Queen!!

  • I saw Brian May in a resterant in london a few days ago, the most famous person I have ever seen in a resterant...

  • where did you see him in

  • In london, in a resturant called Fortnum Maisons

  • sounds like a nice place. i take it he was surronded by fans when you saw him then

  • Actully not he was with a friend it might of been his wife, I don't know, it was a private resturant, so he was probably trying to get away from fans, my mum pointed him out to me

  • i see. if his friend had ginger curly hair then that would proberly be his wife although i may be wrong

  • wow brian may has aged alot, but what a guy to keep the hair!

  • News Flash Brian, we may tire of many things but never of Freddie. He is with us forever.

  • the interviewer is so gay.

  • the interviewer is gay thts why

  • I KNOW!!

  • lol

  • John Deacon must come back into the band

  • I'm glad that they've gotten the band back together and with Paul Rodgers, they'll make it big once more. Of course it won't ever be the same without Freddie, but I think he'll be proud that his bandmates didn't just stop the band after his passing, but after a long break and reconciliation, that they got back together. It's true Paul Rodgers isn't replacing Freddie, but helping the band have a new, fresh sound. I know Freddie is proud of them. =)

  • Don't change your hairstyle, ever!!!!

  • As gentle and kind as always. I love his smile. How sweet of him to feel for Britney Speers. He's a very sensitve person. A soulful human being, a super guitarist and songwriter.

  • At 5.57 I thought I saw David Bowie.

    It wasn't him.

  • youre right he looks like David Bowie

  • Lol me too'

  • well he is 61 years old you dumb fuck. in fact he looks better than any 61 year old ive ever seen he looks better than you ever will

  • I bet you don't look any better, asshole. For a guy of 61 years, he looks great.

  • its called aging numnuts!

  • Seems that no one understand what Brian says! I really love you Brian thankyou for your astonishing magic! And darling dear I will remember Freddie Dancing and singing and most of all enjoying life! ooooh Freddie!

    46664! Teach learn and support!

  • hey hey hey bitch you're crazy idiot go to fuck your mom

Brian may rulez and you suck

  • Can no-one just listen to the fucking interview? Why do you all have to make such disgusting and retarded comments? Why does it matter what you think of the interviewers? And why does it insult you so much that Brian wants to keep doing what he's been doing for years anyway? Freddie's death doesn't take away the right for Brian and Roger to tour using the band name that's rightfully Brian's as he founded the group with Paul Rodgers making it very clear that it's got nothing to do with the money.

  • I don't think we can say the name belogs to Brian... Freddie came up with it, after all. But I agree that it's fine what they're doing...

  • will he ever get old?? he looks the same as he used to back in the 80's

  • An amazing musician and Human Being!!

Thank you Brian May and Queen for decades of classic rock n roll

  • It just won't be the same without Freddie! I wish he was still here!x

  • Right Dude

  • It's not just Queen -- the WORLD isn't the same without Freddie. But Roger Taylor and Brian May have no intention of replacing Freddie; they're simply fulfilling his wishes, that "the show must go on." Freddie wouldn't have wanted them to stop doing what they loved.

  • I totally agree. Many more should see that.

  • I really think they should do an album titled "Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud" which is directly from May's PhD thesis. It would sound so epic, fitting for *Queen*, and for the astounding talent Brian is... but also bcoz, wherever Mercury is rising, Freddie is orcestrating his own Zodiacal Dust Cloud :-)

  • Wow! That would be awesome!

  • good to see this interview. nothing to do with queen but who is the queer presenting the show ive completely forgotten who he is..?

  • I don't care about some queer, I think Brian May is such a sweet man and he still has his curly hair.

  • anyone who's never seen Queen live EVER please respond........Everyone who would like o see them once again in their lifetime or for their first time please respond. Let's be glad our heroes are alive (RIP Fred) today and attend their concerts. As profesionals they are doing it for the RIGHT reasons....don't think Freddie can't be remembered through a new fresh start or project by Bri and Rog......rubbish

  • I'd give anything to see them live - with or without Paul Rodgers. They need to come tour in the US!

  • look be fair brian paul and roger are millonaries there set for the rest of there lives they done it because being a band means more than just money to them i respect your view but sometimes you need to think a bit deeper about things

  • yea but I bet you'd go to a concert if they were playing in your backyard tomorrow.....

  • One humble question: why does this clip begin and end with an image of "the Cross"?

    ? ? ?

    ! ! !

  • Brian May you are awesome!

  • I worship this man!!

  • ...for Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals

  • Really they are not replacing him you know, the thing is that it is difficult for Roger and Brian to move on they want to keep going on to another group but prehaps they just don't know how to leave Queen... it is difficult. So I don't see it in that way they just want the memoty of QUEENto live on and on.

  • you hit the nail on the head well done truly i mean that

  • Thanks.
