This is so dumb, I did it much better.

A friend of mine did it with 3 portals, sorta that way, but by portaling to the highest button, then using the 'box bat' to knock the ball into the plug. then sets the box down on button, jumps to lower button, over to door, then onto platform, grabs box, jumps back over to lower button, then jumps back to the door, and thru. :)

i did this in 5 portals and it was a lot easier than this. the only cube i had to use was the one from the first room.

you don't actually toss it (press E) you left click as if you are shooting a gun, and it will give whan you are holding more momentum.

Good job on getting the gold, but you definitely went about it the wrong way. You can just stand on one of the buttons and toss the cube to the other button to open the door. This test can be done in 3 portals.
