  • my friend shondell just told me about this i said no way in hell .. but here it is wow file this under shit i never knew lol

  • My God! It's...Alternaverse Alice!!!

  • it's great to have all this 'camp' on film but I don't think it was Mae's intention to be remembered quite this way.

  • Disco Alice meets The Late Great Mae West! Great you got to meet one of my heros, she was really amazing for her time! Wow radical departure from your typical style, but you could do anything, ya got talent, Babe!I forgot you were in this. Was fun.

  • Wow is it really him!?!?!

  • the gilded diamond lily. XD

  • As I said months ago: is that Alice Cooper or Greg Brady?

  • It must have killed Alice to sing a Disco-esque song in the movie! I read in Alice's biography "Golf Monster" that Mae West put the moves on him for a night of sex. He politely declined!

  • @3wiccan3

Interesting historical note. Alice Cooper, is a TRUE, gentleman, and an electric entertainer! I am a fan since 1970. I "got it", what his shock rock was actually saying. He is a master communicator.

  • @molarmama5 I agree with you. My step-father belonged to the church that Alice's parents belonged to. My stepfather's church was in Monongahela PA. All that man and his associates could do was talk about how evil Alice was for bringing Satan to young people. I never drank the Kool-aid of that religious crap but I understood Alice was an entertainer. If he were alive back in the days of vaudeville, he would have been Groucho Marx!

  • @3wiccan3

    Groucho Marx? Flawless! Right ON!

  • funny how these people just plug in the way that they do

  • This is my second favourite bit in this film. It is mind blowing, but it isn't the colossal mind fuck that is Timothy Dalton singing/drooling to Mae West.

  • Poor Alice LOL

  • OK, so the film is not "Gone With The Wind", but it is a fun romp and everyone in the film seems to be playing it for camp. Mae doesn't exactly look 30, but she could easily pass for her early 60s......20 years younger than she actually was!

  • Oh. My. God. That's HILARIOUS

  • This song "Next, Next" was written & produced by Van McCoy who also scored at hit with "The Hustle" in 1975.

  • Oh...my..God....MY BRAIN HAS EXPLODED!!!!!

  • Looks at Alice's eyes.....he's looks like he's about to cry. Can't say I blame him...terrible movie AND Mae was hitting on him the entire time he was on set.

  • Fuck that piano is cool.

  • now the only thing left for Alice to do is rap...wait, he kinda did. ok Country, nope he did that too. damn. XD

  • @AliceCooperInsanity How about salsa? Perhaps Yodeling?

  • @screwyootube1 Salsa would be cool, i think. yodeling...i don't know if his voice is up to it anymore, but it would be hilarious. XD

  • @AliceCooperInsanity I was just joking, but either would be interesting & amusing!

  • @screwyootube1 i agree with you. :D

  • What the hell was this??

  • she used to be SNOW WHITE but she drifted

  • @connboy12

    Brillant!!!

  • i dig his tux! lol

  • LOL

  • This had to have been a movie they film, showed, and buried in the most remote wooded area they could find. Though what is interesting is seeing THE Mae West with Alice Cooper with his make up off.

  • This had to have been a movie they film, showed, and buried in the most remote wooded area they could find. Though what is interesting is seeing THE Mae West with Alice Cooper with his make up off.

  • I never though the prince of darkness singing this. It's very funny.

  • I just threw up in my mouth a little bit

  • There are scenes in this movie where she's strong and like her old self, and then there are others where she looks utterly lost and confused. She was definitely not herself at this point.

  • Had he wanted to, he easily could've switched the musical genre and become the next Barry Manilow, Alice does ballads just as good if not better. :) In fact, it's what makes most of his old 70s albums such classics, the diversity in styles, something clearly lacking later in his career. But yeah, indeed a genius with a super voice (when he wants to, like here).

  • Great stuff .

    Thanks for sharing

  • AT least one of the dancers is/was from the Welcome To My Nightmare stage tour.

  • Worst Movie Ever.

  • Ah the 70's...

    Gotta hate 'em...

  • check out the dancing 1.34 amazing!!

  • gotta love my senile idol shaking her ass with Alice Cooper. I don't care what anyone says - I love this movie.

  • @dollylove46

How much does Alice appear in the movie, only this song?

  • @tonka989 This is his only appearance in the film.

  • @enquvist and it drove him mad.

  • Actually, it is pretty hilarious. RIP Mae

  • This guy went on to do the mighty 'Constrictor' album of '86... who wouda thought!

Wonder if theres any footage of Barry Manilow doing a shock rock /gillotine and headless chicken performance?

  • "Oh, hello Alice."

  • I can't believe people are even commenting on this.

  • Is that really Alice Cooper? Or Barry Manilow?

  • Alice & Keith Moon were drinking buddies, so they both ended up in this movie, Alice reminds me of Barry from the Brady Bunch.

  • hes still a babe

  • Mae West 'Owned Hollywood' and some people there, plus alot of Real Estate in LA. for years before her death in 1980.

This was the final scean she shot.

Nice final 'Ass Wiggle' shot she gives in her shot with Alice Cooper!

  • truly amazing.

  • alice cooper with short hair... now i've seen it all xD

  • @carloslopez14

A grown man wearing a short hair wig!!!

What's next next, face makeup and tights?

    Yeah, maybe ripped tights!

Maybe a boa strung across the shoulders as well too!!!

  • Alice does his best impression of Barry Manilow.

Result = Probably the most surreal artistic decision he ever made.

Seriously, how is this even real...and why does Mae West come off as the creepiest person in the room with The Master of Shock Rock present???

  • And ...I thought the stuff he did with Soupy Sales was funny...

  • I find this VERY strange! I mean... Alice Cooper in a musical? I prefer him as the schock rocker that he is. :)

  • Welcome to HIS nightmare

  • That last line cracked me up for reasons unknown to me.

  • Why he looks like Kilnger from m.a.s.h?

  • I noticed that in this film there weren't any MCU or ECU shots of Mae. Makes me wonder...

  • This is the scariest I've ever seen Alice! He plays a freakin disco tune, how HORRIFYING! =O

  • I think this movie was so awful that if you were asked to be in it, you would simply HAVE to do it! For the sake of kitsch!

  • wow! They are very efficient luggage packers.

Dom De Luise, Alice Cooper, etc., do we know what any of these people think of having made this movie?

  • You can't buy modernity.

  • @wattever333 Pierce Brosnan...

  • @jonahfalcon1970 what question are you answering?

  • Holy shit 1:39 that black dude's head nearly flew off!

  • Ha ha...! The seventies answer to Jordan.

  • I really can't get over how old she is in this. I probally would after a couple of pints.

  • oh my goose please keep your hair long

  • wow i almost wanted to see cooper do some tap dancing!!! he out does barry manilow and billy joel here!

  • This is great I absolutely adore Mae West.

  • I will say Alice has a great voice - this allowed him to show it off.

  • Alice does not play the piano in this scene, but he is singing. Long live the COOP!!!!!!

  • Mae West didn't like W.C Fields. In fact, she would never mention his name again after My Little Chickadee till her death in 1980.

  • Oh, what the hell.....Alice is obviously just having a romp for fun. It is hardly an actual, new direction!

I have this movie on DVD. OK, it ain't "Gone With The Wind", but to see Mae West not looking too bad for 80-something, having a romp with Ringo Starr, Alice Cooper and Keith Moon is silly fun. Amazing that she got to play scenes with both W.C. Fields and Alice Cooper. Talk about time travel!

  • Alice Cooper could have had a second career as Donnie Osmond..lol

  • Alice Cooper = Greg Brady

  • ROFL!

  • I'm trying to convince my brother this is the Coop and he's REFUSING to believe it!

  • Older brother or younger brother? I have to know so that I know which approach to take in telling him to get the fuck over himself and listen to his sister.

  • Heh.. he's older by four years... i got into the Coop through him... I think he was just gobsmacked that this 'permed ponce' (as HE put it) could be one and the same genius who gave us Dead Babies and I love The Dead, etc.

Don't worry, I got him to get over himself... it's a spoof so he can handle it.

  • lOL! That's why it's so funny! Alice Cooper's rock persona is the complete opposite of this character he plays in this film. The coolest people don't take themselves seriously..

  • I remember Alice saying in an interview how he decided to go away for a while because of Disco. He told the reporter "We weren't going to play it"!

But then he did stuff like this!

This is funny only out of dated irony.

    Nice perm Alice,LOL!!!

How many people watching this know who Mae West even is?

  • I had to check this on IMDB to really believe this lol

  • A man of MANY talents! I love this man because he's so cool!

  • This is very catchy! Go Alice Cooper!

  • Nice Video!

  • Alice Mannilow?

  • Anyone else notice that Alice is like, everywhere? I swear... ever since YouTube started this "videos recommended for you" I've been seeing his name pop up on the most random videos in the most random places.

  • Did Mae West discover The Fountain of Youth? She looks like she's in her 50s....not 80s!

  • Well, it's all vaseline drenched medium shots...

  • i dont like the hair like that and that music doesnt seem to click in :S im scared wheres the guillotine and the makeup?

  • You just saved the world. HAhAhAHAHAHAHAhAHAHAhAHAHAHAH

  • Okay, let's see if I understand all this. Mae West went to an Alice Cooper concert and liked it? Then Alice Cooper appears in a Mae West movie (along with Keith Moon) doing a Barry Manilow-like song and looking like a reject from the Love Boat? I've slipped into a parallel universe again, haven't I?

  • Actually alot of people were excited about the appearance on the Muppet show. And what fuckin decline? Poison was a classic hit song and it didn't come out til waaay later. Along with many others.

  • Decline meaning Billion Dollar Babies went #1,and Schools Out #2.Then in the early eighties albums like Zipper Catches Skin,Da Da, didn't even make the charts.Alice went from playing stadiums to playing small theatres. Then Alice came back with the successful Constricter tour, and then Poison was a huge hit.

  • Alice was cool because when he came out,he scared parents. This appearence in Sextette is not what Alice's core of fans wanted. This is why Alice went from playing arenas,to playing 1,550 seat venues. From number one on the charts,to his albums not even making the charts.

  • it was alcogol, not muppets that sent his career downhill for 10 years...

  • Alcohol yes,but appearances on The Muppet Show and Hollywood squares did piss alot of fans off.Sorry if the truth hurts.I am just glad that Alice rocks so hard today.Love his new album by the way.

  • I love him

I thought this was a lovely little clip

    thanks!

  • lets chat

    bored here My

  • God the 70's were so Horrible...but Me West loks like she's about 55 not 80 something!

  • lol wow im so not used to seeing alice cooper with hair like that. haha.

  • mae west is so damn sexy even at age 88!!!

  • Only if you're a 57 year old trucker.

  • Welcome to my nightmare. No, really, THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGH!

  • and this is what booze can do to you..

love this man.. is the greatest..

  • Alice is versatile, I'le say that, much more than I ever realized. May West certainly did'nt look 80 there, she looked more like 50. Was that old Dom Deluise at the end there?

  • Oh my god, it IS the Coop! LOL!

  • So cute...and to think this is the same guy who smashes baby dolls' heads in and sings stuff like "I Love the Dead" and "Welcome to My Nightmare"...

    I love this man!

  • oh ALICE,,LOL

  • You mean to tell me that's NOT Greg Brady? Whoa. This one's a keeper. Thanks for posting. And, um, I'm sure Alice thanks you too...LMAO!

  • hahahahaha!!

    thanks for this video

    I fuckin' love this guy

  • Mae and Alice were really good friends. It was Mae who went to a show during Alice's 1973 Billion Dollar Babies tour and said it was good Vaudeville.

  • I can see why this movie bombed. Alice rocks but dancing cleaning people? I'll pass.

  • Alice Cooper is a genius. He is so diversified, he can sing.. dance.. entertain.. he is awesome!

(PS: Didn't that little strut at the end remind you of Travolta's strut?! LOL!

  • Alice looks like a porn actor. :-D

  • LOL! What can you do?

  • WTF?!?!?!? Alice Cooper singing to an 85 year old Mae West. That's why I don't drink.

  • hahhaha.

  • first off she was 84, If you didn't like it

    don't watch it....

  • "first off she was 84, If you didn't like it

    don't watch it.... "

I hope you're not being serious.

  • G R E A T V I D !

  • love him..but...dont like the hair =(

i perfer the long, black hair and the make up.....

he should be in more movies

  • I effin' love this movie. Funniest damn thing; about a dozen songs and singers, and Alice is the only one who can hold a note.

  • why wasnt this on the Life and Crimes! =(

  • The dancers are Isaac Washington,Priscilla Barnes,Christie Love and Jeff Conaway.

  • Excellent lol !

  • Thank You.

  • if you knew anything about alice, and if you really consider yourself a "hardcore cooper fan", you'd appreciate his sense of humor and taste for vaudeville, clearly demonstrated here...and if you have this movie, why are you looking for it on youtube?

  • Alice Mannilow...bwahahaha

  • don t you all get it? Alice can do all.Metal, horror, humour, sadness, dark shit light shit, any shit! '78,he just came out of alchohol

treatment so he s doing a bit of camp, why the hell not? The dude is a genius...accept it.

  • Coop is a legend!!!

  • wtf lol

  • LOL, this would be a good publicity aiganst alcohol damages !!...Anyway, Alice was great at this time, thanks for posting...

  • OMG!!!! must find this movie it seems hilarious... lol... incredibly funny... lol... some films are so bad that they turn into instant classics and this one must be one of the funniest bad movies ever

  • Thanks for saving the world, Lady Barrington!

  • she has to keep holding on to things incASE SHE FALLS

  • It's an awesome song!

  • Holy...freakin'...GOD!

As well sung as that was...THAT WAS ALICE COOPER! DOING DISCO! ALICE COOPER!...WHAT!?!

    WITH A 'FRO! Wow...

  • What a creepy look hack. And Mae West don't look to good either.

  • How will you look at 85?

  • "Oh, hello Alice"...He recognised him immediately! HAHAHAHAHA

  • Alice had tentatively dipped his big toe into disco on his last couple of albums, but absolutely NOTHING could have prepared me for this! The tux, the 'fro, but above all, THE SONG!!! This was such an artistic mismatch for the Coop that it just boggles the mind. (Not that he doesn't sing well on it.)

  • haha, too funny. Go the multi personalities of Alice

  • cool,rock on alice

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! :) Thanks for posting.

  • I MUST OWN THIS MOVIE!

  • You'll never survive Sextette.

  • We need more movies like this one.

  • alice says that when mae was 86 she invited him to her trailer, so he went, and she offered to fool around with him XD but good ol' alice refused...what a good boy lol <)

  • I bet he wanted to shoot himself in the head after that one. I can have sympathy for it. I LIVED BAD DO'S BEFORE.

  • Whooooooa . . . It's Afro Alice. I bet he decided "never again" with the 'do. XD

Probably the most shocking thing Alice as EVER done. Forget on-stage executions! Hee!

  • Alice Cooper with an afro? BWAHAHAHA!!! This is great stuff!

  • Great!

  • That. Is. Amazing.

  • The worst thing I've ever seen, thank you

  • This is the single most important event in history, the greatest song ever.

  • SHIT!!! Thanks for posting this!!!!

  • WTF?! xDDDDDDD Wow, now I know why he's called a shock rocker! I'm indeed shocked now! *rofl*

    Very nice! ThX for uploading!

*giggles* OMG, my tummy's aching now!

  • the many faces of Alice

  • wow, short hair alice! thanks for uploading

  • And people wonder why his fan base shrunk.

  • That was truly priceless, thanks for uploading :)
