OK, so the film is not "Gone With The Wind", but it is a fun romp and everyone in the film seems to be playing it for camp. Mae doesn't exactly look 30, but she could easily pass for her early 60s......20 years younger than she actually was!

Had he wanted to, he easily could've switched the musical genre and become the next Barry Manilow, Alice does ballads just as good if not better. :) In fact, it's what makes most of his old 70s albums such classics, the diversity in styles, something clearly lacking later in his career. But yeah, indeed a genius with a super voice (when he wants to, like here).
