he needed more than an elite qb, he needed to work harder himself. His work ethic as a pro was awful and thats a big reason he's not playing now. Also, David Garrard is not a bad qb at all, check out those numbers. I think it should be noted that Garrard threw for 3600 yards last year. In 2007 he had 18tds and 3 picks... 102 rating. He has an 85 rating for his career. To put that in perspective carson palmer is 88. Brees is 89. Garrard is great and it has NOTHING to do with race. He's a warrior.

Also it wasn't a little drug issue it was coke and then violating his parole. He may miss time next year due to suspension. He has Chris Henry written alll over him. Tim Tebow is nothing like Matt Jones, Tim Tebow is built like a powerback that runs a 4.5 like most powerbacks and can batter his way through defenders. Matt Jones has 4.3 speed which is what scat backs have that are usually 5'9 to 6'0 but Matt Jones is 6'6 which is rare speed for that size (its elite speed for anyone of any size), its why he was put at wide reciever, he has similiar measurables to Randy Moss, if only he had a quarterback that could hit him deep and not dink and dunk.
