Trouble is, Sheila, no one in power wants to look after the infrastructure - which requires local workers being paid a decent wage.

The PTB want only the "new" produced by low-wage people overseas ... meanwhile the homeland can rot and you will never get a bank to lend money for repairs and maintenance.

Banksters (and client politicians) would rather have wars/total destruction to make money from, than support the maintaining of existing infrastructure. Youtube does not allow real discussion.

I bet that there are people who believe that this was not just an accident waiting to happen in an old water main, though it is simply the case that all infrastructure has a "use by" date, no matter how well constructed originally, as this water main probably was.
