@rad4life1 Not really. The idea of the commercial is: The alien sensed food in the General's shirt pocket, so he took a bite. He liked it so much that he was afraid that he would become addicted to it and stay on Earth, just to eat it. But on Earth, he gets fat and lonely, and he doesn't understand proper fun. Then he comes to his senses and leaves.

@donaldlolwut I think it's more that the products slogan was "come to your senses" and as soon as the alien ate one he indeed came to his senses. He was told to "make him self at home" and after eating the product realized what life on Earth will really be like and no longer wants to make him self at home cause it's not a good place to live and so he bolts back to his ship.
