This was amazing. I felt so privileged being allowed to watch it and to get a glimpse into this part of Jon-Erik's life. Thank you! And a special thanks to Mr Mullin (who was quite hilarious himself in this video:) !
it is an unexpected joy... i never imagined we would have this time capsule and looking glass to his youth... he was such an astounding man... impossibly talented!
Ginger and Doug - you did a tremendous job w/ this footage. The welcome back cotter thing was hysterical & creative. And thank you JP Mullin for taking, keeping, and sharing this video. Why it took so long for Mr. Mullin to locate it makes me wonder and wonder and wonder. I know that you and Jack had an incredible relationship... both you and he were lucky to be there for each other. Is there a chance to get together one day and grab a beer Mr. Mullin? Perchance a burger at Friendlys?
Hi Cameojack, thank you very much, the little bits of background music was my touch, kept things flowing. I still want to get the free Friendly's Ice Cream I've seen on the commercials since I was a kid, LOL. But alas, not Friendlys in New York City.
I live about 25 minutes away from Tenafly, and pass the Friendly's whenever I'm on the bus to NYC. I'm sure Tenafly was a nice place to be when Jack was there. It still is a nice, upscale neighborhood for the most part.
I am an immense fan of Hexum. And the more I learn of him, the more I am astounded by him. He was one of a kind in the best of ways. Talent without limits and a fellow that lived life to the utmost. It is such a treat to see these films from his high school days. Thank you so much to "hexumremembered" for posting it here on youtube. A joy to watch!
Well, Hexumremembered is a collaborative effort of Ginger and Doug, along with some generous help on the part of JP Mullin, Jon-Erik's friend and mentor for much of his life. Jon-Erik did have a lot to share with the world, and it's a shame he wasn't around longer so we could see more of it. Thanks, cameojack, for the kind words!
These video clips are amazing. Who would have thought we'd actually ever see Jon-Erik on video before his Hollywood days!! Thank you for sharing this and thanks to Mr Mullin for providing this unique part of history.
Yay for the Class of '76! This was a joy to put all together and it really does reflect a simpler time. Not a cuss did I hear in that hallway, lol. I can imagine now! YIKES! I'm sure true Jon-Erik fans will really enjoy this. It's great to see the young man behind the hunk image, a fun loving, Tenafly Guy. :)
Hey talk about things being ironic! Your boy is from the class of 76, and the video I'm uploading is another classic from 76, the Revolution!! This made my day;)
That was great!!!

I noticed about the T-shirt. Now how funny is that ;)
It's a pity we can't tell if the stripes are red.
