I love this song. I am in the marching band and every year before a competition we will get in a circle and play this song while swaying and then go around hugging all of our friends and every time i hear it now i start crying as do all my other band members. it brings so many memories :)

I work with special needs kids at a christian residential center in NC. I have used this several years for graduations . I know they will be unable to go out and get a job but they will continue to be friends under Gods protections. Most graduation songs talk about getting job etc. It is even more meaningful to me because my daughter just graduated too, and she is going to go into christian ministry. God Bless you

The first time I heard this song I and my group of friends were saying goodbye to a dear friend. And now as I hear it again, I am thinkng of my bf that was there that day. I just said goodbye to her and her family 2 weeks ago, after spending the last 7+ years together,having babies and raising them. We have been friends for close to 13 years and have said goodbye before so I know it's not forever but it still hurts the same. Only now we have kids saying goodbye to their bf's. That hurts worse.

This song reminds me of a friend of mine who was on her honeymoon in '89. She was in a plane crash in Cancun and was one of the few who did not survive...Even this many years later, when I hear this song..I can see her like the last time I did see her.

No, I go to a really small one in northwestern Oklahoma...It's in the tip of Oklahoma that's actually in mountain time near Black Mesa. It only accommodates around 75 kids + staff.

5 years ago, I had the opportunity to go on a missions trip with Compassion International to the Dominican Republic. It's because of this trip I'm sponsoring 2 children, 1 in El Salvador, and the other 1 in the Philipines.
