I saw one of these where they had to knock off the rime on a lantern every 2 or 3 hours

I've seen some still-shots of rime on windows shot from within the OBS building. Is it possible to set up so as to be free from the harsh outside environment and get some of those great "fish" or wave formations at a later date?
