  • What calls do you prefer for coyote hunting?

  • @TheWutang2 Open Reed hand calls

  • I use a .270 and have been for the last 8 years i seem to have the same and better results than almost all of my friends using the .22-250 and the .223

  • hey I'm wondering what kind of call your using? and i got a 7mm center fire savage Stevens rifle i was wondering if that's goof for long distance coyote hunting and what kind of bullets should i use so it doesn't make a big whole in the fur? lol

  • I use a Remington model 700 22-250, whith a 3-9x50 scope, harris bi-pod, my calls of choice are the primos power dogg, and the quaker boy cottontail screamer.

  • nice video, im watchin videos to learn my coyote call, in a month or so im goin

  • look at your miss closly as your coyote runs off .. there are two of them one runs right the other just a bt left of the other check the slow motion

  • nice video enjoyed it

  • Don't use a .270 Short Mag on those. Too brutal.

  • i wonder why everyone from the mid west and north says 'caye-oat' and 'acrosst'. not making fun just curious.

  • The deer certainly had you pegged.

  • What call is the at 1:34.

  • Why shoot a coyote? Predator control, or just shooting things to watch them die?

  • @slippy441

Since there is no trapping any more. Coyote populations are on the rise. They devastate fawn populations. There is hardly any animal that doesn't feel the impact of the coyote. They typically prey are the young. Even Turkeys and ducks get their nest invaded. The reality is hunters can verily put a small dent in there populations. Hunting coyotes is necessary. That is why there isn't many states that even put a limit on them. They know you can't impact them.

  • @slippy441 its predator control in our area infact, we have farmers and land owners contact us.

  • id be willing to bet that more coyotes are taken with the 22/250 than any other rifle.

  • another awsome video! And I thought i was the only one who just seen the deer running away from me! lol Thanks For Sharing!

  • where are you guys actually from... i used to live around akron, yuma, and wray when i was younger..

  • Falcon, CO and we hunt all over in Eastern CO.

  • 243ai with 60 mef berger , even better than the great 22.250! more punch fletter shooting and another 100 yds on the other end

  • 22-250 best for sure

  • Nicely done video

  • Loved the mule deer at the end.. lol

  • I like using a 50 cal on coyotes its a blast no pun intended.

  • thats awesome man, ive never went over a 30 cal , thats cause thats all ive ever owned

  • I like my little 223... great gun.. groundhogs deer coyote, most animals in WV

  • Hows 7mm Mag for a cannon!!!

  • The 243 is a great coyote gun. The 7mm is a canon, but sometimes we have to use what we have until we can afford something else. 223, 22-250, 243 are the standards and the list goes on... Thanks for the comments!

  • You shot a girl....!

  • my cousin and i just started coyote hunting i use a .243 and he uses a 7mm do u think these are dood chocies.

  • lol at matrix coyote

  • is it true you find it hard to love a call thats reed is bent and paralized

  • Yes it is a Rem 700 action. It is a custom built 22-250. It is a tack driver. I took the stock off of it and didn't torque and lock-tite the bolts. My gunsmith about killed me. He is an accuracy nut. I took it back to him, he worked his magic, and it is as good as new.

Thanks for the positive comments. We have a couple more videos coming out. I just need to get time to edit them.

  • What caliber were you shooting,is that rifle a remignton 700 or different?

    Nice vid.

  • That's a little sound effect I added in at Uriah's expense. We like to make fun of each other as often as possible. If your not having fun, then it's not worth doing.

  • That was hilarious.

  • Whats that sound at 5:15?

  • haha idk lol

  • That's funny. There were a few birds spooked up by that coyote!

  • you reckon the camera man would've got more footage of that 'yote had he not been bird watchin'?
