Ignoring your own mistake of 'to abvious', 'them bullets' is actually acceptable English, as an informal way of saying 'those bullets'.

That and any native English speaker can find a lot of slight mistakes in many SA songs. It's not like imperfect grasp of a language takes anything away from any of the songs.

I think it's just a reference to the man's conscience in the song. the man had just come back from a war, i guess painted all you're pictures red could be a reference to the men he's had to kill.

Their blood stains all the pictures red, maybe it's just the fact that he can't seem to erase the pictures from his mind and they're dripping red with the blood of those he had to kill.
