I still have my 89 Eagle and drive it regularly. I always loved this commercial....and yes, that is Orson Bean doing the voice over. He did all the Voice overs for Jeep Eagle adds in 89 and 90.
This car was underrated; I certainly would have chose this over the Ford Taurus at that time, for the Premier was a great driving car, and it was a nicer looking car, too. To me, this was a better driving car than the Dodge Intrepid/Eagle Vision/Chrysler Concorde that replaced the Premier.
