After more carefil analysis of the video, look at the cubes at the start, pay attention to the orange squares, they in in the same position...roughly. I would be safe to assume they are two identically jumbled cubes with an identical set of steps to solve it. If you watch the movements of them both carefully you can see a lot of similarities in the panels on both cubes as the steps are carried out.

they got the cubes that we're just bought, and mixed up the cube, then when they we're done, the put the tape in rewind just like in the video. the guy in the background was walking backwards so that it looks like he's walking forward when they rewind the tape. So techniclly, its fake

Backward? My thoughts exactly, however they do have someone walking in the back of the shot, walking backwards too? Or- the remebered a series of steps to solve the cube and just caried them out given a starting point. Or- it really was backward. You would think that if you were sliding a cube plate around an axis with your foot you would pull it toward you, however Adam appears to push it away. Interesting. Either well thought out or just plain backwards.

what they actualy showed here was playBACk, in reality they messed up theyr cubes and when played back it looks just like they are solving it. they also got a man to walk BACKward behind em so it should look like its real. but hey its TV ppl just dont walk behind like that, so with that i would say mythbusters is busted!! (yes i know for some ppl this is more obvius than 2+2=4, but there might be ppl that didnt know=P)

There's a set algorithm that makes allows you to solve a rubiks cube no matter how messed up it is.

Even I can solve it blind folded. You just need to keep track of what you've done. It's not hard... kinda like following a map.

@pokemonlova99 It may seem impossible but Rubik's blindfolded is a big part of competitive cubing. Here's a video of a world record blindfold solve *** /watch?v=Hfd5sxW8Clg *** First he studies it and memorizes where everything is, then he solves it. It's a difficult task but it CAN be done.
