Well, we are still having the issue here..

tuition fee has been increased by 10 or 20 %

and I paid 1000 dollars more for this quarter.

and it has been extremely difficult for us to get the classes that we wanted. this is my second year here, and it has been really crazy and hard to get my classes. and I even pay more tuition fee now.

If the President has resolved this issue by 10:00 am that morning, than what did this demonstration accomplish? (at 4:30 that afternoon...)

I don't know where you are getting your information, but I have never heard that the issue was "resolved by 10:00 am that morning".

I think the rally (and the threat of the rally) accomplished a lot. Most of the classes were restored. Do you really think that wouldn't have happened if there had been no uproar?

The classes had been restored before the rally (at 10:00am that morning) - so what was the point of the rally?

Again, we never have heard from anyone but you that "classes were restored" at 10:00 am that morning. If they were, nobody told the rally organizers about it.
