eflites motors are the best quality so i cant see it doing much damage i guess

You will burn out the brushes in the motor doing that chicken dance, when the heli is on the ground and on its side there should never be any power, I would say that dance has reduced the life of the motor significantly.

Also, I highly suggest that you put some elec tape on that tail motor. That end cap can come off and if it does, oh boy, its probably going to end up with buying a new tail boom with a motor. Just a small piece wrapped around the bottom and around the side will really help protect it from popping off.

Well thanx for your comments, it is nice to see that people actually see your videos. I have now been flying helicopters for about 6 months, this little video was more like a prank, just having fun at the office. But I actually fly T-rex 450's & 600's and also Raptor 50 SE & Raptor 90 SE. I also fly my son's T-rex 700 Nitro and Beam E4.

If you are new to HC helicopters, I recommend flying in a larger area, that looks pretty crowded and doesn't give you much room to work with. This helicopter flies great outdoors on calm days(7mph wind or less). Your garage may also work on windy days if it is large enough.

Just wanted to add, the reason being is that the air from the blades, pushes on the ground, and causes random movements. when you are higher off the ground, say at least 2 feet or more, you don't be pushed around by the ground airback. You will learn to fly faster/easier at higher altitude(not super high, but get a little higher than in this vid). If you know what you are doing, and this was just a funny vid, then ignore my recommendations as you probably already know them.

i think you mean ground effect

the rotors air gets pushed on the ground then bounces back up and over the top of the rotor blades like a cyclone

its the adverse air currents that make it slightly unstable

this effect also helos the heli get airborn from ground level take offs
