She's a fake. I have read her book which I thoroughly believed at the time.
But on further research I found out it to be a fake. There is much evidence online to support this.
One example is she changes her story on a few occassions, like in the book she describes how someone else killed a cockerell in her initiation, but later she said she had to bite the head off herself.
Fellow christians must be very careful not to just accept anything because the author claims to be a christian!
I would scream to the world if I could "don't fall from God!" i got caught like Doreen and had demons driven out last year. I had horrific nightmares and addictions. I cried to God and Jesus stepped in and saved me. I am still not completely free and am due for more prayers. Jesus is my saviour. People need to wake up to this reality.
This woman's story is 100% pure bullshit, just like most aggressive ministry methods. Use fear and misdirection to keep people from critically examining what they are being told.
@TommyFilth1 your own aggressive words, and even your pseudonym tells me that you're accusing someone of the tactics you adopt. Rather than make emotive statements, give examples. That's what an objective and logical person would do and it would give your own statements credence. Emotive statements themselves show an inability to critically examine things.
@fingalful1 I have a very good example for you. In fact, it's one in a series of examples of what was known in the 1980's as "Satanic Panic". Since I am not allowed to post links, look up the Blogger site called "Swallowing the Camel", which critically examines Doreen's spurious testimony along with many other alleged "ex-witches". They go into great detail explaining why this woman is using fear and lies to trick people into buying into the ministry she represents.
@swdee2003 she makes no such claim in her book - it's very obviously you have not read the book and have no idea what you are talking about. it really annoys me people claiming to be Christian trying to shout down others from doing what is right
@sweetpappya Erm I have read the book actually and when I was also a gulible person I used to believe it until I decided to investigate it's claims.
She was an outsider and rose very quickly to be the "Queen Of Witches" which is absolutely absurd if anyone knows anything about these things, it NEVER HAPPENS! Most such groups have a set introductory time of a year and a day and after that it takes years to move through the levels.
@Darkblooded77 What's your definition of Magic? Why is it that black is considered bad.Maybe because the white man started this misconception.A guy once told me praying is evil and that the devil is the prayer itself. The guy was crazy though.
@slickrickjohnson Magic isnt what people think it is, it is alot like prayer in certain terms, basically you tell the world what your need / want is and the law of attraction brings it to you if you want it bad enough. The difference between black magic and white (normal) magic is that black magic takes away free will. For instance, Necromancy (the art of raising the dead) is considered the darkest form of black magic because once you raise that person, their only will is your own.
@TheWICCACHANNEL How do you know it's lie? so you don't believe in demons and that there are witches and wizards living in this world well i'm very sorry for you BEACOUSE if you have read her book she said that what the devil really went us to believe is that THERE IS NO HELL AND AS SHE PUT IT IT ALL MADE UP LIES which is what from the looks of things you believe well, i just pray that God OPENS your eyes to the truth
coralarch i dont think they will ever give you the name.because they make it up.or it was a bullshit group to begin with.because if i hear her talk i can only say that i would not have stayd in such an idiotic group either.
@witchcerridwen- sorry for late reply- I only found your post now. I don't believe a word she says. She may be self-deluded, but I suspect that she found a canny way to make a quid. Fools will always believe the ravings of psychotic, especially those loons who find "God".
I recently purchased doreen's book, "From Witchcraft to Christ", 1973 edition. Her testimony in that book is very moving and would benefit anybody who would read it.
HER BOOK GAVE ME THE COURAGE TO TO REPENT AND BECOME A CHRISTIAN

wouldn't it be nice to be able to live such a sheltered life as you must have to be able to make such a ridiculous comment as yours

She must have been a big influence to future bullshitters John Todd & Mike Warnke.

In Doreen's book, she claims to have once belonged to an ancient Satanic cult. What was its name?
