@struppur The original use of Dilla's beat is from Pharcyde. Actually, I can tell you a story about James and this song. James' sister Martha heard a ruckus in the living room and ran in there. Baatin, T3, Proof and James were all going crazy. Runnin' by Pharcyde was playing on the 'New York Undercover' radio show. James kept repeating "i made that in the basement, i made that in the basement". It was the first time he had ever heard his music playing on the radio like that. ...true story!
