My boyfriend being a Bloc Party fan for years, and an avid reader of NME at the time, he got lucky and managed to get us 2 tickets.
I didn't particularly listen to/like Bloc Party before the gig.
Needless to say, this gig changed my life. They were Amazing. I've never before or since been to a gig of equal quality. They were just so good, and it really touched down on me how good their lyrics and songs used to be.
