@verawett Its food that was invented by African Slaves, they made soul food out of the left over things that the slave masters didnt wanna eat, it sustaned the slaves whilst they would be out in the field all day.. Its something to be proud of, and its just a straight up fact.(Every food is ethnic food- ethnic doesnt mean non-white)

Actually, i think all the dishes presented were okay for an occasional consumption but the spaghetti dish with the pepperoni,sausage, and meatballs would definitely pack on the pounds.

Why dont we address the REAL issue....African americans dont get enough cardio excercise to nullify eating so many calories containing trans fat and cholesterol that clog your arteries.

actually it is soul food. Shocked me the first time I went to someone's house. They were serving fried chicken and spaghetti along with other soul food dishes! They usually put sausage in it and lots of cheese and sometimes chicken.
