Good to see fans praising Malayalam cinema and songs. Tune is probably one of the best from Rajesh Roshan stable. There was less scope left for heroines to emote in both versions, Hindi and Malayalam. Hindi version is picturised on a great cine-artist Shabana Azmi .

No, Swami was released in 1977 and avalude ravukal in 1978. I had seen Swami and remember being surprised at hearing a Malayalam song with the same tune as the song from Swami.
