  • If Ratigan's first rant clip didn't go viral, MSNBC would have sacked him by now.

  • Keep in mind that no one on any MSM outlet (including Ratigan)will EVER be allowed to say anything remotely "liberal" UNLESS their network gets ratings out of it.

    I constantly hear Schultz, Maddow and the others say oh no, I can say whatever I want. Translation: if I have a well-negotiated contract and strong ratings, THEN I can tell my bosses to piss off. Otherwise, either stay in line or get sacked.

  • they need to be organized protestors not just a bunch of people running everywhere. the police are organized and thats how they put fear into the protestors. just as it shows in history the Spartans had only 300 men taking down thousands. its because they stood together and were organized.

  • Both my parents contributed so I do not believe its welfare. Its the price for a humane society and without public services we would be a 3rd world country. Public schools educate all kids which are tomorrows workers. We all uses highways which our grandparents built. We all have electricity because public investment. Business would not wire small communities no profit.

  • I agree. Many argue government is to blame, but rich buy influence to get rules they want and we must follow them. Money has too much influence. The Republicans take most money and agree with rich and business. Democrats also take money but are more willing to do what is right. But unless money is removed from election we will never get real change.

  • @Judy101101 tollerate poverty so the rich can get richer - that statement proves my point - great wealth causes great poverty - if you want to see how you create poverty look at your bank account - the level of money anyone has today is equal to the level of poverty in our world

  • @Judy101101 Iam on disablity and know how what I can buy has decreased. There has been no raise in 3 years while my costs for prescriptions have increased each year along with everything. I live check to check and bank account $0 by middle of each month. They keep theatening cuts to Medicare and Social Security, but many could not live without. They are the Christian Party but they hate people in need.

  • @DAVIDAMORSE1701 I'm on disability myself caused by crimes canada doesnt' do a thing about - I feel your pain, my bank is at $0 mid month as well - I eat one meal a day, the last week usually eat every second day - how can you take advantage of this level of poverty???

  • @Judy101101 I eat once a day too. Top 1% has 40% wealth or so. They lie and say 47% no taxes but its only income taxes. Poor pay many other taxes besides in US. Six banks have 65% of wealth. Big corporations pay no taxes. Bank executives earn 5 1/2 times more than NYC average wage.

  • @Judy101101 We can change government to force change in policy. Movements like this have forced change Civil Rights laws began because of marches and protests. Prohibition though bad and repealed was pushed by a public movement. Depression caused bank regulation reform that lasted until repeal in 2000 because of pressure from banks and large contributions. Occupy movement could lead to new banking reforms.

  • @DAVIDAMORSE1701 the only way to change this is we have to make the changes and not pay any attention to government. the depression was solved by war and welfare, they did not solve any problems but caused bigger one's that we pay for it today. The change is get ride of bankers and government or trust no changes were really made at all - plus these people are seriously mentally ill - a sick mind can't think rationally

  • @Judy101101 We have to run nonpoliticians and make the changes but we must use government to reform poicy. We can not ignore governments because we can not set rules that other nations and business will follow. Only governments can.

  • @DAVIDAMORSE1701 I disagree - the statement "only governments can" is a limited belief - who says only governments can do something? why can't we the 99% do the same job? no where on the globe is a government looking after their people, they don't know how it's done - they've proven they can't have peace tables because they have a war mentality

  • @Judy101101 Its the way the world is structured. Nations make treaties setting rules and regulations for businesses. Even our revolution was faught to replace unresponsive government with representative self rule. Ben Franklin said that what they created was a democratic republic, if we could keep it. Libery is kept with eternal vigilence.

  • @DAVIDAMORSE1701 well clearly the structure is flawed so it's not the way of the world at all, it's the way to do everything wrong - change means doing something completely different - try thinking outside the box, try thinking ANYTHING is possible. the only thing impossible is the limited belief in the possibility
