  • you do know that it follows the exact same path you program into it every time

  • Shouldn't they paint it green so when the camera spins and looks at the giant arm thing, it would blend in and could be digitally taken out?

  • To make one of these, just spend 15$ in radioshack, buy som pvc pipes and find some scrap wood

  • çok kaba gözüküyor..

  • that's a monster! i'm scared!

  • wow!!

    great filming gear!

  • YEAH MILO PIMP!

  • im in love!!! <3.<3 amazing!

  • que masa essas cameras

  • saat kac :D

  • Thats cool

  • Terminator.. must kill grips.... : (

  • fat monster

  • its shadow freaks me out 2:28

  • wtf.. did he say

  • @Shenu2009taher hes turkish like me..

  • Wow a giant coffee machine!

  • Dear Santa ...........

  • film makers like to have big things. whats the hole point of this

  • I'll take two. How much is shipping? :-) They are free to the first 10 people right?

  • This is a waste of everything. I don't see any use in a big bulky machine like this one. I can do all of those camera movements with my hands and wont have that dreadful sound in the background. Hell, even a normal crane would do this 10 times better than this piece of shit. Waste...

  • @Felixweirdalfan you dont get the point. Its a motion control rig, not a crane. It can replicate the same exact movement as many times as necessary. It makes compositing easier.

  • Why do they even post this? They are aware of the fact that NO ONE on here can afford it. Lol, it seems like they are rubbing it in our faces.

  • its good innovation but its impractical and hellenic300 is right this is just way too loud.

  • wow waste of time and money,... u can use a steadycam to make movments like that besides tilt

  • @HalomasterA69 ITs for recreating exact movements to scale or layer shots perfectly If you've ever seen the series "LIFE" on discovery Chanel and you saw the scene where its one continuous shoot of the plants blooming and leaves growing and what not, they used this technology to make that scene, because all of those plants bloom at different times, they shoot them blooming individually using that type of machine so the angles would match perfectly and they played the footage over each other

  • @SFproductionskm why not just use the technojib? :)

  • @HalomasterA69 You have totally missed the opertunaties with this. Think FX. It's already been used in a lot of movies.

  • @HalomasterA69 You have totally missed the opportunities with this. Think FX. It's already been used in a lot of movies.

  • what camera is that

  • Shane Dawson at 2:28!

  • Comment removed

  • omg it's glados v2

  • its lout but you record the sound sptrly right?

  • i can do all this with my hands....

and its too loud dude, robocop did less noise

  • @boludopro yeah but can you do the exact same move over and over again?

  • @boludopro Lol, you cant... I would be way too wobbly...

  • Comment removed

  • woaow I NEED One of those!!!!

  • woaow I NEED THAT!!!

  • Thats not bad, but i would rather see something that flies, like a Quadcopter hooked up to some tethers, something that is hooked up on ceilings and walls, but alas it would probably cost just as much. :)

  • Pretty dope machine! But so far the flaws I see already are, that its way too loud and too damn big. Im sure there will be something like this that will be smaller and less noisy in the near future... I love fact of what it can do though.

  • damn there you are with a super piece of equipment and what do you do to show it............

you make one of the most BORING youtube episodes about it that I've ever seen !

  • speaking turkish

  • dammm thats a lot wow and what about one the is kind small

  • where i can buy this

  • how much is the machine i need something like that or a little bit little

  • @lazarotheboss123 $ 60,0000

  • This is the same type of rig they used in Terminator 3 Rise Of The Machines. This was utilized in the scene were Kate (Clair Danes) sees her boyfriend walking across the cemetery and slowly morphs into the T-X female Terminator. Precise motion had to be used and the walking of both Kristanna Loken and David Andrews had to match perfectly so the transition could work with the CG effects.

  • I think the actors will be scared of it^^

  • @technowatcher123 hahahahha

  • Whats the emmiter freq for the sensor?

  • Why do I need this when I got masturbation?

  • This machine is very noisy to hear a battle tank...

    Technodolly is the best machine...

  • How much is this? I got 10 bucks and a 10 dollar coupon....

  • @HANGER187 you can send the coupon voucher over.I will fedex it for ya lol!

this bloke speaks I language I have never heard before but I understand every word he is uttering out loud, ain't it strange ?

  • That's the most sexual piece of technology I've ever seen. Hahaha! Funny/true story.

  • awesome for many types of setups and scenes, but very loud for others. would love to rent one someday

  • Really? can't you find other clever cheap ways to do the same shot?

  • I want one ...

  • Thank god for CC button, I felt like I was deaf for a second.

  • e iyide sesli çekim yapıcam car car ötüyor bu alet o nası olcak?

  • It's a better cameraman than me

  • Is there a real point to the big ugly bulkiness?

  • @MichaelFrymus it is an amazing machine the bulkiness doesn't matter, it can move towards u at 40 miles per hour, go around ur head 2 inches from ur head at 40 mph then go back while u sit in a chair.....

  • @MichaelFrymus

    yes. stuff goes in there.

  • That thing is probably better/smoother that any humans movements.

  • What does one of those cost? 2 million?

  • This thing is a monster. I love it.

  • helal be kardeşime .işte budur.merih hocam bide şu sky cam var dünya kupasında kullanılan ondan yaprmısın ben alırım

  • ...yea...i'll stick to my little tripod, lol.

  • vhmnghjmtymtuykmy

  • very good man

  • piczo

  • LOL I never knew he was going to turn out turkish! (im turkish) :)

  • This is a genius!

  • krasses teil

  • turkiye de boyle birsey yapilmasa inanilmas birsay

  • thats in turkiye hahaha im from there to whell my parents are but i know a little turkish

    naber la

  • What is the brand of Servo motors, drivers and controller?

  • помоему она шумная

  • 2:29 he said Shawn Dawson : D

  • dumass im turkish and he sayd "suanda" witch that means "now"

  • he was joking and it kinda sounded like it (with an accent)

  • to ta maszynka co ma 12 osi ruchu? :) wyjebany sprzęt, taki mógł bym kiedyś dostać od Mikołaja :P

  • i invented that

  • no you didnt dumass

  • I did you fucking moron.

  • Comment removed

  • if you can afford one of those you shouldn't have any problems with getting budget for ADR

  • fuck it's loud

  • was this shot at Cine Magic?

  • I bet this machine worth than Bugatti Veyron lol.

  • haha hell yea @MattzillaEvo

  • @MattzillaEvo It might not have even been that hard to make. I am sure the mythbusters could have made it in a week or two ;)

  • @MattzillaEvo a couple of them actually. the moves are sexy as hell.

  • @MattzillaEvo i dont think so..... bugatty is very overpriced,,, this could cost maybe half a million and i would still call it a super uber expensive camera

  • @CSOCSO Well you know business prices are more expensive than regular prices for costumers...

  • cool !! what the cost?

  • mantebs bro..ntr suara robotnbya kerekam kamera gak neh?

  • I just saw the "S.O.A.D.'s chop suey" video. Way cool video, but I saw no justifiable reason to use such an expensive machine on this video. Again OVERKILL.. After further review, I'll admit, that there is a market for a rig. But I will stick to my guns and say way too expensive for the results.

  • ya it is was to expensive for the result but there are some things that you have no other chose, unless you have a robot operating a jib.

the only time they used it in the SOAD video was when the camera came out under there feet well they were on the support beams and when they were appearing and disappearing on the stage

  • Ok... I'm done with this topic. Have a good day and keep raising the bar, on all your videos and movies...

  • Over kill and I bet it's way too expensive.

A standard jib/crane would work just as good and less expensive. Oh... way too noisey.

  • no this is for when you need to have a moving camera shot well cromakeying. my favorite example of this is the girl yeah right invisible skateboard part. the filmed every shot twice. one with skaters with green boards and one with out any one. this is the only way to get the exact same shot to go behind a cromakay mask when the camera is moving.

  • show me an example of somethingt you filmed with this beast that you can't do with a jib/crane and dolly.

  • nothing i have ever filmed cause i dont have the money nore do i do special effects alot which is what this is used for. i would like you to do the exact same shot to the pixel twice with a dolly and jib/crane. thats what this is needed for. like in the video i mentioned in the previous comment they have skaterboarders with green board that they cromakey out. that leaves a hole in the footage. the only way to fill that hole with what is behind the board its to film it again with out them.

  • Had you not sent the money on this thing you would have money for a lot of other euipment to film any movie you want. really, how many people are going to hire you and this machine? what is your return on your inveatment?

  • you obviously dont understand how this is used in special effects and how it is better then a jib/crane for special effects.

google "How to use the Milo Motion Control system rig" and watch the 3rd link its a video like this but English and longer that shows what this can be used for that would be extremely hard to do on a jib/crane.

  • what video are you refering to? "girl" & "skateboard"?

  • the movie i am referring to is a skateboard video called "yeah right" by the company "girl" the clip here on youtube is "Invisible Boards by Spike Jonze"

  • So your telling me that the 'invisible boards" video (which pretty cool) was done with this contraption? I call BS! They hauled this thing all over the place to capture the scenes twice? How light... or should I ask how freaking heavy is this thing? Again I call BS!

  • it might not be done with a milo. spike jonze in an interview(for get where) said he used motion control. they make motion control tripod heads they could have used that for the shots.

as for this this was used in the paper plane to fly to spitball scene in spiderman(so you can get the exact same perspective as CGI models the first try.

it was also used filming the like 2 second clips in S.O.A.D.'s chop suey.

there are so many examples where this have been used in the video i told you about

  • Ok. ok. I can see where this rig can come in handy. but even my girlfriend, who knows nothing about chromekey and compositing, noticed that there was something odd about the tiger and Eddie Murphy's scene. and also with Shande O'conner's video.

  • @MohanSandhu Haha, who the fuck cares what you think?

  • Comment removed

  • @MohanSandhu This video thing is just a hobbie for me. I have no need to work on "high profile features or commercials" as a grip, best boy or labor like yourself. I enjoy my financial indepenance.

  • @MohanSandhu BTW thank you for checking out my profile. I'm flattered.

  • i wanna a toy like that

  • its turkish, says so in the description.

  • i think its french.... or something...

  • no i saw it on tv on the science channel it is fucking awesome

  • wow i want one like that

  • is he even speaking in english?

  • he speaks turkish!

  • I think it's to noisy for shots :D

  • That's where ADR and foley come in :)

  • my friend is a JBS driver so i dont need that robot LOL.... great job mate ...

  • I have one of those....It's hard to fit in my closet.

  • hahahaha

  • You are the man.

  • Funny. All this high tech stuff and you're still using film. Why not RED?

  • well cuz this kind of technology is older than red and talking about that, red is an alternative to film wich i prefer, but it doesnt replaces it just yet.

  • I see. Thanks. I think Sony has something out now that competes with RED. It is about $60K though.

  • yeah check out the red web page the scarlett looks like the way to go as a independent filmmaker

  • But editing RED footage is a different story...

  • Cool!

Too bad it kicks out too much noise

  • Can I borrow it for my student film please...?

  • sure 1 million to borrow from me 1 hour

  • does it make cofee ?

    please use some English...

  • i'm feeling naughty at the moment

    i love u 64

  • it makes a lot of noise what is not very welcome on a film set.. it looks not very flexible either. I guess a real cameraman on a rig would be a much cheaper / more flexible way to get your shot..

  • Uhh...you don't get it do you? It's a motion control system, it is used to precisely set what camera motion you want, and record the movement data, so you can put it into the computer, and use it to create a digital effects composite with complex camera movement, without having to spend weeks animating the movement when you add in your background and other elements. Its a huge time saver, and also allows for complex digital effects shots that your cameraman on a rig couldn't possibly enable.

  • its mainly used for shooting live footage on a preset movement programme, then the SAME movement can be shot in the green room to composite in green screen elements of actors and props

  • he pardon unuttum galiba onunki uçacakmış..kusura bakma

  • mithat diye bir ardakaşta böyle bişey yapmayı düşünüyodu ama siz daha önce davranmışsınız...

  • Çok harika bir makine..teknolojinin son harikası buna diyorlar herhalde..

  • no terminator... little spy cam

  • terminator?

  • milo is a nice guy!when we shot commercial for new tuborg green in croatia we got milo's cuosin but he was called TERMINATOR :))

    hoscakalin turkiye!

  • Perfect !!!! Smart Man

  • г0BH0

  • I love how, during the first 5 seconds of the video - it goes through its routine without moving the camera at all. What a cool piece of equipment!

  • that looks amazing! But have you guys ever heard of a camera man?

  • try get a camera man to reproduce the exact same movements over and over again for compositing of bluescreen/greenscreen work over background plates, or to composite CGI over real footage.

  • take a look at outkast's video for "hey ya" where all the musicians is the same guy, they used a machine like this to repeat the exact same camera movements and join every shot in post

  • that just sounds like cloning. you can do that with any good editing program.

  • cloning static shots is easy, cloning shots where the camera is floating around and making complex movements it's hard mainly because a human cameraman can't repeat the same exact movement

  • How do you transport it?

  • robotics + Hollywood = motion control

  • it didn't, nobody loves me

  • Bununla sesli çekim yapamazsın...

  • Wooow !

i LOVE this machine, really beautiful, powerfull , and does a great motor sound!

The way, the camera stays static while the arm is moving is stunning!

    Great toy :)

  • it's a incredible machine! well done guys

  • slm iyi ama motorda ses cikiyor hocam süper ama

    selamlar

  • wow

  • wtf is he saying

  • haha he is explaining the basics of motion control via the Milo system' we just didn`t post the english version yet' best regards

  • @snylekkie

    "This is the mylo system"

    "Its a camera robot"

the zoom is 200x, you can extend the robot, rotate it, lift it and control the angle OR put it to track something.

Thats basically it, I don't speak his language, but yet I guess i got something right, lol.
