can someone please explan nollie and fakie? so im learing nollie backside flips and looked up trick tips, and it looked liked nollie frontside flip. For nollie backside 180, would i being goin foward, like, being able to see in front of me OR go backwards and not seein whats behind me?

@arejayskateboarding1 Basically, on a fakie bs 180 (better known as a bs half-cab) you would be turning so that you could see the road in front of you. On the other hand, on a NOLLIE bs 180 you'd turn almost in a fs style so that you CAN'T see where you go. Simply, fakie is rollin' backwards while nollie is switch except fs becomes bs and bs becomes fs. Now go learn those nollie bs flips! But I think you're goin for nollie fs flips, which are fun as hell! Have fun, go skate, and DON'T die, okay?

As you probably already know, a regular fs 180 is where you would turn so that you are facing the way you're moving. it's the same thing for nollie, an nollie fs 180 would make it so that you face the way you're going. For bs, just reverse it all. Minus fakie, fs spins are where you watch where you're headed, and bs spins are where you're blindly moving.... god I hate backside! It's kinda sad, I can nollie tre but not reg. bs 180....
