  • @AustraliaTwo Not exactly funny.

  • How absolutely terrifying.

  • It's eerie to see a plane that had an accident. I went to Hawaii in 1988 and this Aloha airline was off to the side of the tarmac. Then the Lockerby crash happens!!

  • It really is amazing that there was only the one fatality and that they were able to land the plane. RIP to the lost flight attendant.

  • Kauboy1984 a ver coleguilla porque estoy seguro de que entiendes español primero, ya se que no es falso ,y segundo se escribe cowboy no kauboy aprende un poco mas de ingles o eres sudaca o eres español de mierda igual que yo friki

  • open top airliners, the next gen

  • @soldiertewi

None fake! i think you need a glass!

  • @soldiertewi they are not fake this really happended

  • the captain did a good job but unfortunately one flight attendant lost her life...

    R.I.P.

  • omg I can only imagine what that one flight attendant, that got sucked out, witnessed right before her death. just falling from that high. wow

    r.i.p.

  • Oh and the metal.I think

  • WOW.On some video I watched on google it said that a woman saw something that didnt look right with the side screw or something right before she got on that plane.

  • A buddy of mine was on that plane (on vacation). He was like, 15 years old at the time. All he can remember is his doritos getting sucked out of the bag after the top blew off. One flight attendent got sucked out (presumed dead, obviously), and the other flight attendants were held down by the passengers.

Kudos to the pilot for landing this thing. The NTSB said if the rupture had been even a fraction worse than it was, the plane would have gone down. Amazing.

  • Its a 737 Convertible now,

  • One Flightattandant died

  • That's really sad. RIP

  • The pilot had to nosedive to get down to an altitude with suitable oxygen for the passengers.

  • holy shit the flight attendant flew and the sharks ate her

  • "Welcome to Aloha Flight 86; Today we'll be cruising at 35,000 feet with the top down. Please keep your hands and legs inside the aircraft at all times. Please do not discard your soda cups or flimsy bags of nuts out into the slipstream. We at Aloha Air realize you have a choice in airlines, and you made a poor one. Enjoy!"

  • HAHA, nice one.

  • Metal fatigue brought on by corrosion from the sea air and the short take off and landing cycles that plane was used for, later the finger was pointed at Aloha service engineers.Very rare incident!

  • And disbonding of the crown strips and the tear bands didnt work.

  • Yea, i understand that the failsafe that is intended for preventing small fractures, tear bands actually contributed to the effect. Was there a fault with bonding too?

  • I think it was something to do with the adhesive they used to seal the aluminium sheets of the body together. I have a copy of the maintenance file on this a/c, and it had lots of scab patches and disbonding of lap seals reported. Hence the accident!!

  • metal fatigue

  • how did that happen?
