  • The one at 0:05 is the one I find funniest.

  • @mrtulala1 That's Jerry Lewis; he is the best.

  • had 3 of my FAVOURITE videos <3

  • This video is hilarious when the audio is out of sync!

  • I love this ad :D

  • Best iPhone commercial ever.

  • kinda shocking to not see that white background, eh?

  • is this a real ad

  • @d1995a3 Yes it is.

  • Hey I cannot say that I was born before television or computers...but I can say now that I was born before the i-series and the current mellenia.

  • The Brando clip is from Streetcar.

  • This Takes me back lol

  • That's not key largo... It's the Maltese falcon or the big sleep.

  • Wow I never knew that apple would make a commercial with clips of Lucille Ball, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Jerry Lewis and More

  • this commercial is very non-apple.

  • this is why i love apple. they know how to hype people up on a cellphone that originally didnt have copy paste, video recording, or 3G. millions got it with fanboy spirit. kudos apple.. maybe the iphone 4 will have options for video share on at&t

  • The McQueen clip is from "Bullitt" 1968 - but apart from that: nice commercial! Wonder how the got all the rights for the movies (clips).

  • mm...michael j fox. hello!

  • I love this ad:P

  • Fargo, Big Lebowski

  • That's not Samuel L Jackson in Jackie Brown. Dumbass

  • Marlon Brando is street car not waterfront

  • this ad caused me an acute heart attack.

  • that is sooo cool.

    love it man

  • thats a nice ad

  • I think the Marlon Brando one is from A Streetcar Named Desire. The background is the one from that movie.

The one with Humphrey Bogart is The Maltese Falcon. I recall the movie had this scene.

  • I can't read German.

  • the jerry lewis clip is from scared stiff, not the bellboy.

  • Mobile phones what garbage what ever happened to getting your messages on the answering machine when you get home or the Telstra 1O1 service, I refuse to have such a thing.

  • nice

  • that was gerry johnson as betty rubble in this clip, not bea beniderat

  • Hello

  • best song EVER!

    Inside Your Head by Eberg

  • Clark Gable clip NOT from "It Happened One Night"

  • Hello :O)

  • Yes. Number 4 is definitely the Maltese Falcon and that was Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire, not On the Waterfront.

  • pretty cool ad there.

  • Number 4 [Humphrey Bogart] is most definitely The Maltese Falcon, not Key Largo.

  • whoever presented the idea for that commerical is most likely a millionaire. very creative

  • Thanks for the list.

  • idiot all it dose is colse the webpage

  • mdab..Why are you so stupid and compare apple to orange. Next time when you are making such video, try to educate yourself first who is each country figurehead and compare them.

  • The Sam Jackson one is NOT Jackie Brown. He had that braided goatee thing in Jackie Brown.

  • Are you sure #4 isn't Maltese Falcon?

  • You know what, now I don't think #4 is The Maltese Falcon. (I did agree with you)

I just re-watched The Maltese Falcon and I don't think that's from the movie...

Marlon Brando was in A Streetcar Named Desire and the Clark Gable clip was definitely NOT from It Happened One Night.

  • #29 Robert De Niro is from City By the Sea (2002), but nice work

  • Will Ferrell's hello crack's me up.

  • Nice interesting post! But, have you seen what happens if you put diamonds in a blender? Check it out blend.lostfrog 'dot' com

  • I LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL

i love the will ferell clip

  • So nice to see High Fidelity getting some recognition - for such a great movie, it really isn't well known enough

  • does anyone know who made this ad?

  • #19 is Kevin Spacey L.A. Confidential (1997), not Glengarry Glenn Ross (1992)

  • In what part of the movie? I thought this was GGR too.I was gonna check because I have both movies. thanks.

  • The Samuel L. Jackson one isn't from Jackie Brown, because his hair is different in that movie. I'm pretty sure it's from Shaft, but not 100%. Also, I think the DeNiro one actually is from Jackie Brown, I'd have to double check.

  • it is so much easier to appreciate this commercial in HD on the apple site and it looks a ton nicer!

  • oh oh billy crystal as well.

  • i downloaded this commercial. so awesome. even tho i could careless about the iPhone, i think that it is sweet. Many of those actors i think are extremely awesome.

Steve McQueen, Robert Redford, Kevin Spacey, Michael J. Fox, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Harrison Ford, Robert De Niro, Will Ferrell, Michael Douglas, Ben Stiller, William H. Macy, Craig Nelson (Mr. Incredible)

  • Kevin Spacey, Michael J. Fox, John Travolta, Robert de Niro, Will Ferrell, and John Cusack? LOVE this commercial. When I first saw it, I tried calling out all the actors.

  • dont for get dustin hoffman from "meet the fockers!"

  • the sole reason why i love watching this commercial is becuase of the song.

    <3 eberg

  • eberg isn't a very known artist. you can buy his album in iceland or on itunes. i dont know if you can search for it on youtube it might be on there. 'inside your head' is the name of the song. 100% sure. you can search for eberg on google to go to his official site.

  • if someone can name all those clips, i bow to thee...

  • check the video description. ha.

  • i'm an idiot and i apologize... i didn't see that... XPPPP!!!

  • haha, no i added the index after you made the comment!

  • iPod's marketing team must be rollin' in the dough.

  • Back to the Future.. Amelie.. Anchorman.. Zoolander!!!

  • Can anyone confirm what the music is as I asked in record stores for Eberg but they had not heard of it.

  • Goodbye. That add was terrible. lol @ apple.

  • Apple is the absolute most ingenious blend of commerce and art the Human Race has ever seen. Oh what I would give to spend one hour with Steve jobs and learn from his creativity.

  • Wow....what a brilliant ad and I loved the music and agree it should have been louder. I love that they keep finding such unique sounding tracks rather than the usual commercial suspects.

  • wait so its called a Hello now?

  • wazzza style

  • its good, but i think the wi-fi provider is going to suck

  • I actually saw this on TV while watching 24 last night!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL thats funny...

  • i phone = over priced

    i phone = over hipped

    i phone = a overly crappy deal

    and last but not least

    i phone = Gaylord

there is no coming back from that

  • ur right there i no coming back from that.. i dont want to even dignify that with a responce.. o wait just did,... darn

  • Somone must realy hate Apple lol!

  • Nice to see some quality videos finally. Check out my vids sometime if you like clips like this. Usually I'm posting at videos.lostfrog 'dot' com.

  • Nice ad. I smiled. Music was great but would have been better a little louder in the mix.

  • Pronto? (Italian) :)

  • BONJOUR !!

  • wow...27 seconds of famous celebrities using phones makes me want to buy an iphone!

  • That commercial cost millions and told us nothing. Thanks for nothing Apple. (I say as I type this on a mac).

  • Is it still limited to edge?

  • ahh thank you so much!

  • The Artist name is Eberg and he is icelandic, his album came out few months ago and its called Voff Voff

  • So did Apple pay Christian Marclay to direct this, or did they just rip him off? (I'm a loyal Apple fan, but I really hope they didn't do this with no acknowledgement to him.) (If you don't know him, Christian Marclay is a multimedia artist who did a film very similar to this many years ago, but it's about eight minutes long.)

  • does anyone know this song?? ive been trying to find it everywhere with no luck!

  • Artist called Eberg and his album is called Voff Voff

  • the song is called "inside your head" by eberg. it's on itunes.

  • This is an awesome commercial!!! does anyone know this song?

  • i loved it. It's just a teaser, i have no idea why people thought it was gonna be epic like 1984, that was when they were introducing their computer line. Not a teaser.

  • Apple does it again. What an awesome ad.

  • Not a good add! - The "Hello" coming in June ???

  • Umm, have you heard about the iPhone man? lol Apple is making a phone that will be released in June called the iPhone. This was Apple's way to show clips of movies and TV shows with people answering their phones... hence the ad for an iPhone. Hopefully, you understand. lol

  • It is simple but entertaining. Like apples products, this ad focuses on simplicity while still remaining powerful. This is what the iphone is supposed to be like, easy to use and fun, yet powerful.

They also didnt have like a thousand words at the end with the rest of the information. would that have made you happy.

  • um, they had to pay zip cuz they're only 1 second clips. Impractical technolgoy? Huh? You're gonna feel stupid in about 3 months

  • 1 second clips of film which don't belong to Apple corporation.. I don't see your point.

  • Great commercial wasted on impractical technology. I can't imagine how much Apple had to pay for the rights to all this content.

  • Yes, we all remember what was said about the iPod when it first came out. Way too expensive, who needs that much space, Apple make computers not mp3 players, etc. etc. and now no one questions blowing upto $300 for one.

  • Good point! I like the way you think. The iPhone has time to update still and within time, it will "hopefully" fit in like the iPod has...again, hopefully. lol

  • I'm out of space on my iPod. =/

  • sux

  • first!
