  • Very pretty... "demo".

  • Beautiful

  • pruuuuuuuuut

  • Yes there is something like this in schools, smart tec make them. But they need the actual board, this is nice.

I want one! Better if you could get some flavour of linux or windows.

  • еврей детектед

  • Marry her Chris do it MEOW.

  • Lame and useless

  • there is nothing unique about it but it has been more developed and made more usable...

  • is first

  • Big chief Pirillo! We smokem peace pipe.

  • She's hot.

  • wow!

  • Around 2:57 loud music over powers the interview. You needed a directional mic and to move in closer.

    Interesting product.

  • @NorCalExplorer Very first interview using what I was supplied. After watching this interview, I used a mic I had.

  • This is so amazing. In 15 years time these will be in schools. Imagine how cheap these would be to install.

  • @macflyfilm i dont think so if we do they will be like toughbooks because kids treat things like shit

  • No, *NOT* the same woman you're referring to. Not by any stretch.

  • try it with a mirror!!!

  • This is so freakin cool! I totally need this!

  • wtf.............

  • That looks great, very innovative idea

  • i didn't even know we had this much advanced stuff in the world

  • all these kool gagets comming out soon , and onlyone that going be able aford the shit, is rich basturds! Fuck all you rich fucking basturds.

  • That is way cool. I wonder if it can be shown on, lets say, a 5' by 4' white board for presentation and still be able to use the touch feature.

  • they already have something in schools similar to what you described. It's called a Prometheus Board. Kids can touch it with a stylus on a white board of sorts and learn interactively. Can't wait for all of this to become standard : D

  • I like it. I'd want it to have better color, but I understand how much harder it is with a projector. I'd buy it for a few hundred.

  • this is just like Microsoft Surface

  • there was a verry shitty version of this on my schooltrip to niagara falls we stayed at great wolf lodge and it was on the floor before you enter the huge water park we spent 2 days there and stayed up until 2:00Am partying :D

  • great! probably not glass or other transparent surfaces though

  • Poo!

  • needs better projection quality to be of any use

  • no, needs a less stupid cameraman, to stop moving camera from the red guy to the surface 'cause camera is having a bad time tracking white balance and iris.

  • no... the white balance doesn't track. That's the whole point.

  • How can you judge that from a YouTube video?

  • i dont like it :/

  • Traci . . . !!!

  • @TALENTHAWAII Aloha!

  • i can see screen tearing when he was in full zoom of the photos when he sildes to next photo

  • oh wow!

  • you guys are talking bout the girl more then the technology is that a good thing or bad...

  • r u serious?

  • craaaaaaaaazy

  • wtf? on the table??

  • dats sick

  • looks cool and

was that guy named Adrian Cable?

  • The technology is quite old (1-2 years ago there was a keyboard released like this) but this is the first media player.

  • @gavinlloydbaker 1-2 years is an old technology??? (O_O) Man, you are definitely a follow-the-edge-of-tech kinda guy. :D

  • ooooooo

  • wow it got realy loud with background noise like 3/4/ thru the video

  • 1. What extra functionality does it provide when compared to any smartphone?... apart from the fuzzy image on the dirty table cloth...

    2. Why use the Windows Mobile... eeeeew.

  • Lol weird, I just reported on this on my website.

  • amasing I cant belive that somthing like this exists right now I thouth it woud take at least 5-10 more years

  • @TPXR there is already a keyboard like that been around awhile

  • Comment removed

  • so this is a microsoft product?

  • good product, although i don't see a need for things like this, you need a flat surface to put this on, and if they are going for mobile media, how would this fair on an airplane? or a train, or even a car? you would need to bring a flat surface and would need to clamp the device to the surface to prevent it from falling off... the technology is amazing, but i don't see any practical use.

  • well thing about it like this if your a busnis man and do alot of preentations this would help alot

  • exactly my thoughts!

  • it reminds me of ms surface

  • Steve Baller uses Keynote for his presentations?

  • @TechnologysFinest Steve Ballmer gave a keynote.

  • very cool,, the user interface looks about 5 years behind the times, but the potential of the technology is amazing

  • That's pretty sweet :P

  • Wow.....just wow

  • Woowee CP, that Asian chick is mouth watering. Great vids compadre,

    Love

    stumblingnaked.

  • Hah, at 2:40 the "Trigger Happy TV" theme tune started playing ROFL.

Once again, the British bring yet another awesome technology to market (remember, the guy who designs all Apples' stuff is British! :) )

  • jonathan ive!

    I love that man!

  • thats awesome

  • wow.

  • Free Idea for use. Restaurant/bar menu.

  • Check out Engadget's January 5th (not 7th) Blue Light Optics article. One of the pics features projected table menus. :)

  • cool product

  • Hi Traci, funny seeing you here, but I am not surprised. I am jealous. Enjoy. I 'll e ya later, Bob

  • Hey Bob! Nice "seeing" you here. It's been an amazing experience.

  • Pretty sweet.

  • It's cool, but not logical. Who wants to stare straight down at a table top for a few hours at a time? I can only see it being used in a business setting (if that) to brain storm ideas on or used in the same way as video photo frames. But concept ideas are what help produce new inovations and technology so I'm not trying to bash this product too much. It would be cool if they used this tech in a different way in the future.

  • @Tubeyouser4life what about a wall mount for it so it displays on a wall?

  • They've "projected" that (pardon the pun). Check out Engadget's January 5th (not 7th) article for Blue Light Optics.

  • Check out Engadget's January 5th (not 7th) Blue Light Optics article. One of the pics features a wall projection (like @asuperpower suggested).

  • photo touching manipulation is too cliche with these touch gimick things. Its funny how only >1% of these things actually get developed into something useful instead of this concept shmoncept bullshit.

  • it look like a smaller and portable mode of surface

  • Coooool

  • Yo Chris, why haven't they sent you a review model yet??

  • something i would never use.

  • That is so cool!

  • It is.

  • this is tight

  • 1:30 - The zombie kid would be proud.

I was going to say "I like turtles!" but where's the sophistication in that?

  • so... its an iphone pretty much...?

  • Is that Ron from Harry Potter?

  • @ianthebomb LOL no

  • i mean this isnt exactly new,, ive mean the only difference is that they have integrated the touch and the screen into one.. my friend had a pda that had a laser optical keyboard that he could use to type messages with..none the less they have applied the technology well and although it still seems to be in early beta stages i think it could have real potential

  • neat but your own shadow blocks the screen :/ But hey not only in the future will my phone have a project itll be a touch screen project... TADA :P

  • This can't be real. obviously. OK, WHO'S THE JOKER?

  • Thats really cool but wouldn't it be a bit limited to darker lit rooms?

  • I agree @TheGibbousPhase, but what if they integrated laser lights as a source of projection? Would eliminate the light issue since lasers would be just as bright outside in the sun.

  • Engadget's January 5th (not 7th) Blue Light Optics article has pics where the rooms seem fairly lit.

  • I want one!!!

  • he said "so" like way too much he must had a crush on here.

  • thats awesom

  • ok now make it abit bigger and make it to be able to handle an OS then you have a portable computer with touch screen to view on any surface :)

  • that is amazing

  • hmmm...the way the Vado is designed seems dumb. The microphone is behind the camera? Why not have a mic. pointed at what you're shooting instead of behind it? Seems dumb.

  • Come along way since that desktop projection keyboard, that's for sure.

  • I don't like this cougar...

  • I really would like to buy one of these. This is it. A portable projector with the latest technology.

  • thats actually pretty cool

  • That's flippin sweet. -grabbyhands-

  • I love where technology is going =)

  • oh thats pretty tight....i want one XD

  • That's some James Bond type shit.

    Pretty kick ass.

  • @wveal88 no its not its real

  • I know it's real :-p

I mean it looks like something James Bond would use.Very futuristic.

  • That`s what the world needs, more James Bond type shit.

  • I know right (Sarcasm) :-)

  • This is going to cost SO much, for something so unnecessary.

  • They have the money to spare, lol.

  • &fmt=5 fixes it

  • does it work in any surface

  • Flat surface is what the product materials say.

  • An error has occurred, please try again later! Youtube is really failing these past few days, i get this with a lot of videos when there recently uploaded. Chris you should make of a video of all these errors, maybe youtube will look at it and fix it for once!!
