I probably would have freaked out, I would have gotten off the plane, this is ridiculous, noone has control over people like this, they should have gotten together and "made" them let them off the plane. I can't believe this is even acceptable. Unbelievable, I will NEVER fly this airline,NEVER!
It's called open the door and exit!!!! Yea, you'll be arrested, but send a signal to the FAA and the industry. Plus no jury in this land is going to convict!
The manager from the Rochester airport has told many outlets what ExpressJet says was a bunch of BS about the security screeners and passengers could have been let off into the gate areas of the airport.
Also, I am originally from Rochester and know of people who have been diverted because of bad weather to Rochester and they have been able to get off and go into a secure area of the airport.
ExpressJet is making excuses. I will never fly that airline ever
so they run off and leave them there overnight, the customer service team were feeling sorry for the company and it s a customer service, not a safety, matter. these things aren t supposed to happen, are they?
