I love how people want to always compare Boot Camp to POG basic training. I had 16 weeks of basic, and we had no females. Sure it's easy to point out the Army's 9 weeks of weak training they give to Chaplin's Assistants. All Marines are riflemen first? I should have taken a vacation and gone to Boot Camp. It was shorter than mine and I would have had some females around... plus I wouldn't have gotten 2 teeth knocked out by a bored DS.

uniforms don't dictate rank. Not to mention if you truly pay attention the ones doing the yelling have what is called a duty belt on, and the one being yelled at dose not. My best guess is this is drill instructors school and not actually boot camp because drill instructors always where smokey bears (the big rimed hat you see most drill instructors where)

I'm a noob when it comes to military ranks, drilling, the military lifestyle in general but, from :58 - 1:34 all the guys there seem to be wearing the same uniforms so doesn't that mean they're all the same rank? If thats the case then why/how are they allowed to just do that? I understand(somewhat) that part of the training is being broken down to be built back up again but shouldn't Drill Sargents, people who I assume are trained for that role, be the only ones to do that?

I went to "Relaxin' Jackson" in 2010. I coulda swore I got on the wrong bus and went to Paris Island on a shitty nine weeks. From what I hear you might as well be at a 92 series AIT at Ft. Jackson basic now days. The Army is being takin' over by sensitive Liberals, and it's NOT a pretty sight. this isnt an accurate representation at all of army BCT it is a viewpoint from the same exact DS and the same video which was filmed by the press, while the marine video is several different clips from several DI's if you would have video taped my shark attack and alot of the points in my BCT it would be practically identical to the Marine DI's depicted on this video.

@kathulas you can't go Special Forces or serve in the 75th ranger reg. unless you're in the Army so i don't know what crazy Hollywood marine movie you were watching. and yes they can earn airborne and air assault as a marine but it doesn't happen as often as you think. and Ranger (school) maybe once out of every 10 classes you might get a Marine or two thrown in there. and with the recent budget cuts and downsizing ill be LUCKY if i can go to any of those schools

And no of course no marine is going to be in the 75th ranger reg. unless they go army later. However the term "special forces" is not exclusive to the army.
