Just what is a "CDI"? some sort of interactive dvd? looks pretty lame, but what do I know- the most advanced gaming I do is 'Zelda' on GameCube.

It stands for Compact Disc Interactive. It was a short-lived medium Philips made during the early 90's. After their falling out with Nintendo for the SNES-CD, they were allowed 3 licensed Nintendo titles, all of which sucked.
