OK, I see elsewhere the 2nd Op 70 is La Tragique Chevauchee, The Tragic Ride. Also that Et Pan... played here is alternately called Sad Pan--a possible reference to Debussy's tragic life...

Beautifully played! Am trying to understand the title and what meaning it may have to the music. The title doesn't make much sense in a raw translation into English (nor does the title of its companion piece La Tragique Chevauch). Are both pieces written to commemorate the death of Debussy?

You wrote that five composers participated but in fact there are ten : Dukas, Roussel, Malipiero, Goosens, Bartok, Schmitt, Strawinsky, Ravel, de Falla and Satie (but only six composed for piano solo) .
