Hitler wanted the WHOLE of Europe. He didn't only want the Soviet Union. Under Chamberlain's appeasement, Hitler's forces already took over parts of Europe even BEFORE the war began and it wouldn't have stopped there. Chamberlain was a weak leader and Britain would've paid for it. Hitler continued taking countries AGAINST Germany's sanctions up until May 1940. Chamberlain did SQUAT. If it weren't for Churchill and the Brits putting up resistance in the West, Britain would've been squashed.
