It's funny how many people don't know they can operate the top with their existing remote. I just bought an SLK55 AMG and the previous owner told me it wasn't possible - it is. The problem is, the factory key uses the IR and must be very close to the vehicle and you also have to continue to hold the button on the fob. It's actually quite useless which is why this product has value - especially if it works off of RF (does it?), and only requires one push.
