I have had the wii for two years and i dont like it at all. I like the controllers and how they are used but the games are a little too childish for me. And the games that aren't the graphics suck. selling it on ebay with all my games. People say that the graphics dont matter but the badness of them get annoying after a while...

@Brobtheonly Well the Metroid games aren't really for kids and their graphics aren't bad. Geometry Wars: Galaxies looks good for what it's supposed to be. You're right though. Some of the games are childish, but not all of them... Based on you not wanting the Wii at ALL, you're probably better off with the 360 or PS3 XD.

Your version is different to mine, I suppose it is because yours is NTSC and mine is PAL. in the screen option is says TV Type instead of TV Resolution and has 50Hz (576i), 60Hz (480i) and EDTV/HDTV (480p). But that last one is grayed out and I cant click it.

The Wii ain't the same song and dance. It's supposed to aim for another audience, not emulate XBOX titles. The graphics aren't up to par with it's cousins... but the Wii isn't all about that. Can't compare em dude. (besides, like 80% of people that I know that have an XBOX, they burn out after not too long.)

The Wii is only an "ok" system. There are soooo many bad games coming out for this system that if Nintendo isn't careful, it will have the same fate as the Atari 2600 did. I'm sorry but all of the third party games are horrible (outside of Guitar Hero). If you consider that Nintendo completely ripped off the motion sensitive remote from the Xavixport which came out two years earlier! (google it up), I have lost a lot of respect for Nintendo.

Best console ever - fact! No other console has been such good value, while offering so many possibilities, not to mention all the quality games to download. Ive got more classic games than Wii ones!

The SD card idea is great too - most digi cams now use SD cards, so its easy to just watch your pics on TV straight from your cam.

Its also pretty silent! Its just a really clever console!
