Power Corp has very few operations in Quebec now. Most of their assets are either in Europe or the USA. However they do own GESCA which is pretty much a holding that includes La Presse and other newspapers.

I'm a resident of Montreal. May I ask why it is that we seldom hear of Power Corp. here? I hear about smaller companies such as Quebecor far more often..
