@FanofBewitched Actually I've read that one of the writers of the Wizard of Oz film was hugely influenced by Poor Little Rich Girl. The idea of having real people appear in a dream sequence "as they really are." The way the Kansas farmhands talk about having brains and courage, and then they appear in Oz as the Scarecrow and Lion.
And even the way Mary Pickford trots along with her companions arm in arm is very reminiscent of Oz I have to say!
