I attended Thao's concert last night and saw that guitar up close. I had a friend with a black plastic feedback buster in his guitar. Hers is definitely metallic. I'm not really sure if it's a feedback buster or used to make the guitar sound more like a dobro. She now also has a new guitar that just sounds SO perfect for a lot of her songs.

that is the pick-up. If you look on a electric guitar there is a pick up or three. this is a kit you can get to make an acoustic into an electric.
