  • The ultimate feel-good movie!

  • Great movie!

I still can't belive how cute David Morse was, when he was young <3 I could just hug him to death xD

  • A superb film, I loved it from the off. Sad, bad, dangerous, very funny, ultimately inspiring. Films like this are so very few; and so very precious.

  • Wonderful film. One of my all time favs.

  • David Morse!!! sooo cute!!!! to die for! <3

  • AYYYE JERR-RY! ROAR-RY! lol this is my new fave. John Savage was sexy even in this movie. gotta love him.

  • My ex girlfriend told me to watch this movie after she saw it on TV one night in the early 80's. The film blew me away. I loved everything about it, the story, the acting etc. John Savage, should have been nominated for an academy award. Why he never hit it big to this day baffles me.

  • a great film, i`ve never seen it shown on british t.v. but a favourite of mine with great stand out performances, about a group of misfits who fit perfectly, a real feelgood film.

  • Great movie,I also love the book.John Savage and David Morse are great actors!

  • i always look for this movie on you tube everyonce in a while...i watched the movie cold late one night, by which i mean, I didnt have a clue what it was about, and the beginning was quite a shock. I love the movie and later read the book which was a bit of a different story as roary was actually injured in vietnam.....but the scene in the movie where he is in the bar and has to tell everyone how he was crippled is something that truly reached deep into my soul.

  • I love this film. Donner made this after his heart was broken by Superman 2, testament to a great soul. After a shocking start the pace slows, and maybe it’s hard to follow for a while, yet by the Christmas bar scene everything clicks. I wish he had completed S2, but then maybe this wouldn’t have happened. For those few who have found this film we know what a gem it is – as Donner himself wanted. The last card, with cast and crew assembled, says it all: another labour of love. Rory! Jerry!

  • A movie about invisible people. Truly a remarkable movie. Excellent music. One of my favorites.

  • Love this movie! Great and touching story - not to mention David Morse (; <3

  • This is one of my all time favorite movies - finally found a copy of it selling on ebay.

Very touching and sentimental, brings out a lot of emotions when watching it.

One of the few movies, I can watch over and over and over again.

    Thanks - Annie

  • im 13yo and i love this movie

  • i love the soundtrack. i have it on vinyl, but it's never been released on CD to my knowledge. great movie.

  • Amen. This movie was GREAT!! John Savage, Stinky, Blue Louis and the crew. Thanks for posting. The end credits were especially moving because of this song and the cast outside of the bar....

  • About time!

  • This was one of the greatest movies I have seen. Rooooooooooooooorrrrrreeeeeeee. What Savage of aperformance by the cast.... thanks for putting this up..Some shows have that perfect chemistery - Mash, Taxi, Cheers, Inside Moves , Everybody loves Raymond, all fall into this catagory!.

  • great movie still to this day.

  • Love this music. Any info on it ?

  • @bubbierudd Thanks for the comment, the music was composed by the legend, John Barry, the particular piece I used is heard during the end credits of the movie. It is available on the soundtrack for the film, but that has only been released on vinyl to the best of knowledge. You should be able to find it fairly cheap on Ebay.

  • Great movie, one of my all time favorites. Looked everywhere for it and finally found it . Two of my favorite actors were in it, John Savage and David Morse. I don't know if this movie was made when the series "St. Elsewhere" was on, I became a fan of Morse's around that time.

  • @marita649

yo could you upload it & post a link I been looking everywhere for it online for free (lol)

  • This is a wonderful film! Ive been a fan of it since I first saw it on Home Box Office in the very early 80s, a few months after it played in theatres.

  • one of the best 80's movies ever!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Glad to see others that have enjoyed this movie as I did. Also has sentimental meanings to me, last movie I watched with my cousin before he passed away. Thanks for the tribute!!!

  • nice tribute to my fave all-time picture. there are very few more touching scenes than when savage tells all to the boys at the card table, or, in his and scarwid's various scenes. fitting music score, too.

  • have the movie very real and good.

  • one of my favorites, glad it came to dvd, thanks

  • @alen3709 the same here
