Nice but this is gust a Giha , not a carmin as carmin is a co. that did the convertibles only as the name carmin giha was that. of a convertible.

@1chiro1 This was painted in 1998\. I used the Dodge Viper Blue from that year. I used Chevy white also from that year.

where did you put the radiator?

@FrankiePintado I put he radiator where the spare tire would go. I remove all the metal in front of the Gas Tank. I then used the air flow vents and angled the insides over to the radiator and cut a bigger hole in the bottom and scooped up a little more air there. I used steel tubing under the car and ran 2 pipes directly in the middle with lots of bends. It was done professionally at a weld Shop

@nicksaircooledvw This motor was out of an 88 or 89 mazda RX-7. I would say they are very reliable. It is a 13B.

@panchoskywalker These seats were out of a 1990 Honda prelude. The only mod I did to the frame part of car is, I welded a piece of Angle Iron Across the fron 2 stock Mounts. Awesome fit.

Karmen Ghias in my opinion have one of the most timeless designs ever. I had a 1970 yellow convertible which I had to let go of.

If you can afford to keep it, don't sell it. It's hard to buy anything as classic.

@yogerson the transmission is a 4 speed. The motor has 220hp. The women and men alike drool everywhere I go. It was so fun to build. It took me 4-5 years. Its one of a kind. No legend, I made History.

This Blue is the Dodge Viper blu from 1996-1997. I dont know if they are all the same but that is around the time it was painted. I dont know which year I painted it. Its been so Long Ago. Good luck. MAke sure when you paint your car to put some focus on fixing the solder by the wheel panels and windshield, they like to crack there. Also make sure the rear lid does not shut to hard, It can sometimes chip your lovely paint.

That thing is absolutely beautiful! If I'm not mistaking this car was in a Hot-Vw's, or VW-Trends magazine a few years back? I was just thinking about that Blue 70' Ghia witht he rotary when I typed "bad-ass-vw" into youtube, and this was the first thing to pop up! I think it's a sign for me to get a Ghia ;)
