@bmrdrummer97 now I'm confused. If yours is so much better why do you care if a weaker band had a similar show? GR has had competing marching bands at super regionals and grand nationals with similar or the same music. GR doesn't complain because it only makes them look better.

Well our band applied for the first time and we were accepted grants pass high school^(: I'm not sure what the odds are but it worked out for us, because of this parade we've been getting invited to a bunch of huge things like London, the Kentucky Derby, the Indie 500.pretty awesome and being in that parade was definately the best time of my life.

My marching band director is applying for the 2012 Macy's Day Parade. So far our band has already performed at two major (but not nearly as major as the Macy's) Thanksgiving Parade. We just did a performance in Chicago in November for the 2010 Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, and back in 2008 the band went on a trip to Philadelphia for the 2008 Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade. The bands did very well in both of these performances and we are definitely using the tape for part of the audition.
