yeah I think it is an F#, i held my tuner up to the speakers and it read a sharp F, i am auditioning for my college orchestra on Sept. 4th, I may upload some vids of my people my rental bass, would you be interested in critiquing me, and offering advice? Thanks

Nice playing. What I find most similar to my playing is deep, controlled breathing while I play. That is probably one of the most important things to keep in mind while playing, since breathing supplies oxygen to your brain and muscles.
