  • why did they all look old back then?

  • Nice modern 1936 automobile!

  • that's cool. Wonder if it came with the preferred equipment package :)

  • Chevrolet was still experimenting in 1913, and Mr. Dohner might've been one of the first to own one. Because he exemplified the durability of Chevrolets, he was awarded with a new car.

  • This kind of quality in a company should still exist today. Which it doesnt.

  • I would not joke about Mr. Ford and his schools ti'll you've actually seen how Ford helped scociety THEN and today. Even though Mr. ford has been gone since 1947 and his school is a trick to get into, his school has a higher percentage of graduates than that of a regular public school of today. There is a reason for that. And that percentage is not reached buy having the students pass a randon test the modern day school board deems good enough to shove kids out the door calling it a success?.

  • When were these two born, before the Civil War in the 1850's .. DAMM. LMAO. Oh, and why didn't Henry Ford do this with Ford Motor Company. I guess he was giving away all his money building schools. LMAO

  • This happens to me all the time. People are always trying to trade me newer cars for my classic chevelles. But mostly they want to trade stuff thats JUNK Like Harleys and late model mustangs.

  • damn there were old ppl back then?

  • LOL! I love Hiram and his cigar in his brand spankin' new car!

  • The driver is always aircooled in summer...and in winter :)

  • Cars are not what they used to be.. Try to keep a car for 25 years nowadays!

  • @Alex148710 Call me crazy, but i have a 16 year old Chevy pickup- a 20 year old Chevy Beretta and a 49 years young Oldsmobile!!! Who says GM dosen't last? ( However, Hyram's 1913 wasn't built by General Motors- in 1913 it was still built by the Chevrolet Company.

  • @Alex148710 They were handmade and expensive then.

  • Old people are the same... Even over 70 years ago...

  • I bet the people in 1937 took and crushed the beautiful 1913 chevy for him.

  • Man 250K now and all the dealer gives you is $500 for your trade and 25% interest on a loan...

  • I wonder what happened to the older car, was it destroyed? Did Chevy put it in a museum? Or did they just resell it to some kid who turned it into a hotrod? ^_^'

  • They look like the perfect old couple` she is so sweet and happy faced,

and her old man is a sharp and cool provider.

  • I bet she could bake one hell of an apple pie !

  • that 1913 Chevy is worth a mint now if you have one like that and if someone owns the same Car that was in this film it wil be worth off the charts

  • @1968DodgePolara I don't think they would have

given him a new car unless that old one was worth

something to them, it must be in a museum then and

    now.

  • @wheelslarbac

That has happened a few times when they want a very old car

they will give a brand new one to get the old one to put in a

    museum.

  • that charriot is one amazing piece of engineering...

    hehe, the masonic handshake @ 1:06! :-)

  • @Caesaurus hehehe you cracked me up with the masonic handshake :-))

  • Modern car...we now laugh at that statement.

  • He got ripped, a Royal Mail is worth a lot more than a '36 sedan.

  • unfortunately Mr. Dohner was quite a drinker and drove off a cliff on the way home.

  • @jolivia hahahaha!!!!!!u fckr!!!!! That was hilarious.

  • Hyram is proud of his old car and not so proud of his old wife!
