My kindle has been typing the "." key sometimes now, and if i would like to open it and clean the keyboard from the inside, will i need to do all that? o.O or is there any other way? plz send me a message as im not sure if i get a notification if someone replies this post. Thz
Thanks man, just successfully fix my Kindle. But my screen and speaker are not easy to take them out like yours. Take me 15min to very carefully remove them
@PowerbookMedic Hi, I just checked your website and couldn't find the link to the Amazon parts, it was however completely overtaken by links to Mac parts which is understandable. Can you please post here if you have any currently in stock or if you have a link to an online reseller?
Nice, but I wouldn't use a screwdriver to open the lock bars and pull the flat cables out. If it slips and lands on the board you'd ruin it. Those lock bars open nicely with a finger.
Had to laugh. I suppose being a Mac user means that *all* circuit boards are referred to as "logic boards". I can see the logic, pardon the intended pun, but if a *circuit* board (not necessarily this one) doesn't contain any digital ICs, then there is no reason to refer to it as a "logic board", as that is patently *illogical*.

@ad54am - We sell them on our website. They are in extremely short supply unfortunately and are difficult to get a hold of.

Thorough, informative, correct (except for the already mentioned LCD/E-Ink mistake). Thanks, I'll refer to this video as soon as I need to.

This is not LCD. It has nothing to do with liquid crystals.
