  • mine had a six lug and they only make 65hp lol it was fun

  • I just bought a subaru brat which APPEARS to have been set on an isuzu frame. The engine, frame, axle looks just like yours. But according to RockAuto it should have 6 lug wheels but it has 5 lugs. Do you remember if yours had 5 or 6 lug wheels?

  • @castirondude Mine had 5 lug nuts per rim.

  • @graydonblair thanks. I eventually figured out someone had mounted this thing on a '87 chevy frame! So there's nothing isuzu on the truck except the engine and transmission

  • is there A/C in it? Power steering?

  • @FanManLover This sold years ago. It did have power steering but no AC

  • Yea the reason they are trying to get rid of these they get to good of MPG

  • very nice

  • Thanks....yep. It was a great ride. I miss it. But, it was rusting out and it's days were numbered. Now it spends nice winters in Mississippi at the hand of a loving new owner.

  • Nice truck. My first vehicle was a 1978 Toyota pickup, similar in size to this. It belonged to my stepdad and was also a rustbucket. It's incredible that it was as solid as it was. Northwest winters are rather tough on vehicles like this.

  • Just for the record how munch did you sell the truck for?

    Thanks

  • You know, I can't remember for sure, but I THINK it was $1600. Sorry, it was quite a while ago.

I'm pretty sure it was $1600 though.

  • Ok thanks for the reply.

  • The truck is now sold...

It's headed to a great new home.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Now that's funny!

Yeah, that Utah plate is famous.

It's been in several newspapers, magazines, plastered all over the web...the trucks darn near famous...gotta love it!

  • Hey you know what's funny? I saw a Utah plate and then thought of you before realizing it actually was you - Greasaru

  • Yep. Gotta love that seatbelt buzzer.

    Horn works great too...

Yep. Same as the Chevy Luv's. The parts were actually interchangeable too..

  • why are you getting rid of it?

  • Because I never drive it anymore (haven't driven it more than 100 miles in the past 6 months) and in Utah they're slowly killing off these old diesels by lowering the emissions on diesels to a rate so low that they can't pass.

I figured someone else would enjoy it.

  • This was the North American successor to the Chevrolet LUV.

Love that sickening seat belt buzzer!

BTW, you forgot to beep the horn!
