In all these anti commercial fishing videos, no scientist states small family fishermen are not those whom contribute to the overfishing globally. In fact, such videos suggest commercial fishing as a whole contributes to this crisis, making commercial fisherman as a whole, the entire intent of this video. Sustainable is a myth! Look to FL USA! So quiktime, what do you consider sustainable fishing ? What methods ? What info have you gathered on stocks and where from ?Profitability is down of course, due to the economy and imported seafood.

Hold on you say 50 %, some say 75 %, and greenpeace says 90 %, which is it. Fact is you don't have a clue !!! Estimations, my 3 year old can estimate as well as this, if you don't believe me give me a sec. and ill ask her , ok, she said the number 37, bout as accurate as you people !

yeah there's variation in the estimations but all the data shows that stocks are declining. on a large scale. fish sizes and population sizes are decreasing in many fisheries, total catch is down, profitability is down. fact. sustainable fishing is the only way.

If you take away subsidies the european fisherman will lose their jobs, thus their government will lose votes... so i don't think that that's gona happen
