  • anyway the whole usa is not very good to live in i prefercanada europe or australia and new zealand

  • @USMCFUCKYEA Detroit has the same gangs as Chicago you dimwit. Plus they were started in Chicago.

  • @USMCFUCKYEA

Shut the hell up, you obviously dont live near the college in Detroit, FUCK i hate ignorancy.

  • @USMCFUCKYEA

Ae you a troll or just so ignorant that you need to be posting on how you think your life should be ran on youtube?

There is a place for that, go rob a bank, like you say you do, and be put in jail. I bet you'll be real hard there.

  • My parents almost invested in detroit, but they blew all their money on a house in UT and now they're stuck and broke. It might be just my opinion but if they took my advice ,they would have more money.

  • @USMCFUCKYEA so is every city in America.I live in SLC(despite what my profile says) and theres a lot gang crime here.Chicago has the most gangs and the most crime. The Safest major city i can think of is the Twin cities in Minnesota, but it might be just as bad as SLC.

  • Nice skyline!

  • Ukrainatrain is right most people are probably too scared to leave their safe little towns, so have fun in your rural areas you fuckin pricks

  • is detroit very arabic

  • No, not at all. All the arabs came there though and started to take over a lot of gas stations and party stores though in recent years

  • @Goddess167989 yeah here 2

  • good music

  • Detroit is 4th World. I believe that 80% of those buildings are vacant and will crumble or be torn down.

  • uuuh that's a SLIGHT exaggeration. Detroit is known for urban blight, but the downtown area (skyline) is a happening place.

  • ehhh.... Actually there are 17 empty high rises in downtown detroit. And i was downtown a little while ago, its a ghost town.

And there are a total of 77,000 empty buildings in detroit. The average 3 bedroom 2 bath well maintained house in detroit is valued at $13,000 to $30,000

    So yeah its bad...

  • no kidding, Detroit is not prospering. The city shrank, and the infrastructure and housing has remained, so what do you expect? My argument was "detroit vs windsor" what both cities have to offer. You saying that downtown is a ghost town is a lie. I go out at night almost every weekend and it's packed. You might be one of those suburbanites who are scared to get out of their comfort zone and never been inside buildings like Guardian, Penobscott, or the Fox, and therefore underappreciate the city

  • detroit is a shithole

  • the view of the skyline is very impressive; however, to visit the city is depressing.

I grew up in the Philippines and always heard great things about America; then I moved to Canada and visited the U.S; my expectations were shattered; been to Ohio, Kansas, and Detroit and I can tell you, the America I saw wasn't the one I grew up to believe in. Americans really have to change their country; they are losing grip of their country if it is to deteriorate like that. Very sad. Canada is way better

  • you mustve visited 10 years ago

    watch?v=b2BE7mvKu5Y

  • there are a lot of prosperous beautiful areas in america to, i live in northern michigan and its fantastic, also there is grand rapids ann arbor. and plus you have just gone to the bad areas. i for one have been to canada several times and wasn't very impressed... boston louisville grand rapids traverse city ann arbor oklahoma city dallas portland atlanta san fransisco are some of the cities i've gone to and i think that they're all awesome towns.
  • Well Windsor is in Canada so there are no guns. Detroit is rated 1 of the worst cities in America and is tottlay unsafe to walkthrough. Windsor has very nice people and detroit dosent no offence to anyone from detroit or america but its true

  • Detroit has quite a nice skyline actually.

  • Is there anything similar between Windsor and Detroit? Is Windsor safe? Is W. worthwile visiting, why/why not?

Please provide something more than yes/no answers.

  • Safe, yes, but not prosperous. Due to it's proximity to Detroit alot of the jobs were auto-related. It's a nice enough place but a bit of a hard-scrabble existance if you don't work in a casino.

  • this video makes it seem like a dream.

  • man mabe if gm sold their hq they wouldn't have to ask for a government bailout :p

  • awalan shu ism hal ghunayee?

  • Canada is cool

  • DAMN STRAIGHHT!

  • HOw is it to live in Canada?? id love to know..

  • Were pretty well adapting to the U.S.

    Everyone here is getting fat.

    But, life is pretty good.

    It's nicer than the U.S.

    (:

  • Soon the broderick tower, westin book cadillac, and fort shelby will light up the skyline. Also the cadillac Center is set to break ground this summer. Greektown finishes their resort tower by fall 08.

  • in case you didn't know, the arabs and jews are the richest people in michigan, period !

    - detroit suburb arab

  • haha it's true. I'm jewish and I live in bloomfield hills one of the wealthiest suburbs in the country(outside of california).

  • actually, I moved here to Michigan from the Wash DC area and the DC suburbs are rated as the wealthiest suburbs anywhere in America. Oakland used to be a wealthy suburb decades ago, however due to the car industry reductions, it is just another mid-west county. Maryland, my home state, is now rated as the wealthiest state (per capita) in America. The states that follow include NY, NJ, and CA. Michigan is way behind Maryland.

  • cool.

  • Ugh, Bloomfield Hills is STILL ranked as one of the wealthiest communities in America. The car Industry does not affect cities with that kind of stature.

  • I would check your information resources because the "Bloomfields" cannot compete with the DC or NYC or LA areas.

They would have been among the top areas 20-30 yrs ago, but not today. There is old money in the Bloomfields, but no new money being generated. Also, the prop taxes in the Bloomfields is far higher then in other more desirable places in the country. That's another big issue...

  • 3rd

  • GM Buildings are really a tourist attraction. Love it.

  • Aw, this is making me homesick. And I love Detroit, but you gotta admit, it has some pretty notorious rough spots.

  • changes to detroit?

    not in this lifetime

  • Once you see the changes of detroit you realize how far it's come but some people just want break away from they're ignorance.

  • the people who are talking bad about detroit obivously has never been to detroit i live there and its nice. u dont have to worry about hurricanes here or earthquakes its the best place to live. i've never been shot or mugged. dont say anything about detroit unless u actually been here.

  • lol, are you stoops?

Detroit has more than 1M deaths since the 50's not too mention its full of A-rabs and blacks that are there to stay.

Don't get me wrong i like the city and it has potential, but not in this lifetime.

  • Please cite the source which verifies that Detroit has had more than 1 million deaths since the 1950's, and be sure to distinquish between natural causes and murders. The U.S. is becoming more diverse so you may as well get used to it or move to Montana--I here it's nice and white out there.

  • wikipedia that shit if you have to.

you can find a source with that information anywhere. 1M since 1950's

gotta isolate all of yous up and dearborn

  • What's wrong with Arabs and blacks. Many Arabs live in Dearborn, and its a beautiful and wonderful city and so is Detroit. By the way most Blacks live in most of Detroit, except Downtown, and I sholuld know seeing as Im Black and from Detroit

  • plain and simple.

detroit, good from far, far from good.

but yall brothers shouldn't worry, cause me and mayor kilpatrick are gonna shake things around in the "D".

im comin aboard in office around late 2009, there will be drastic changes to the city including real estate, economic vehicles and ethnic filtering. by ethnic filtering we want detroit to be as multicultural as toronto minus the excess homocides.

2009-2010 catch me at the D my droogs.

    lates

  • looks like esmerald city, from "the wizzard of ozz".

  • Detroit is a very nice place. I designed a few projects there and have a few more big ones in store. Ever here of 1001 woodward?or Jefferson Park?I putting up the first million dollar ones. Detroit's rust belt and ghetto days are over.

  • i hope youre right, because some of the vids i have seen make me want to grab the politicians by the throat! there is no way that an area (if not the city itself) should look like that. This is our country, and as such attention should be paid to all of its areas...no body should have to live like that.

where's Oprah and her cameras to call national attn?

  • Detroits downtown is very beautiful. I go down there to eat all the time, but the hoods aint nothing to fuck with.

  • Downtown Detroit is VERY NICE.

  • I agree, I live in Atlanta ,but I'm from Detroit i've been here 5yrs now and i'll tell you that Detroit has a much, much better downtown. The urban planning here sucks too...but the weather is mild i can't stand another Detroit winter...lol

  • Detroit is nice to look at but not to set foot in...

  • It's hard to believe that a beautiful skyline like that is home to the ghetto and is the 2nd most dangerous city in USA.

  • My friend lives in Windsor now because refuses go to Irak!
